ヴィリーノ(Hotel Villino)

This hotel is on the outskirts of Lindau and you will need to drive to eat anywhere else. It has the reputation of being a great spa and wellness although I didn't use it. The staff, room, grounds and breakfast are superb. For dinner at the Michelin restaurant I had short ribs and my wife had trout. The sauce was so overpowering on both meals we couldn't taste the main ingredient. We could not finish either meal and complained to the manager. The response was "everyone has different tastes." In addition the waiter was unfriendly. Would avoid eating here.

Wonderful stay and elegant a**osphere. Comfortable rooms, delicious food. Perfect welcome. Unique boutique hotel. We felt at home. Exquisite furniture. I had the privilege to spend my birthday at this unique property.

The way R&C should be - well run by family members and well trained efficient staff, nicely polished and manicured and with impeccable service on the high expected standards. My place of choice when visiting the region, especially Bregenz Festival - ideally integrated with dinner and logistics planning. Simply I'm taking off my hat to the owners/managers.

We would not stay anywhere else. The attention to detail and the staff and food are superlative. It is family run by the same owners for over 30 years. The way it is set out makes you feel like you are the only guests. Amazing gardens. Their motto is ‘one step closer to paradise’ and we agree. Perfection. Our second stay here.

Stayed here 5 nights. Immaculate rooms, beautiful place to stay. Beautiful gardens surround it, and the staff are really lovely and so very helpful. The restaurant gives you a special experience, and I loved the breakfast! I have stayed in many high class hotels, but this one has something very special and unique, and comes second to none. Highly recommend it. If we ever visit that area again I would book to stay without doubt.

The stay in this hotel was magnificent. It has a pleasant, sophisticated atmosphere. Situated in a quiet environment. The room (Fiamma) is a luxury, comfortable suite. Only thing missing was airco or fan, but was doable. Bathroom was clean and plenty of space. Gourmet tasting dinner was delightful! Very tasty. Very friendly and attentive staff.
