Hotel am Domplatz - Adult Only

Great location in the old town next to the tallest (?) cathedral in Austria. Great in-house restaurant , with a multitude of others available. Only 100 m away from the shopping *****, with a public underground parking not tied to the hotel only 20 m away.

Rooms are clean, hotel loby and toilets are clean. Beautiful location of the hotel, but disgustingly rude staff at the reception and owner/director. The younger receptionist, with long dark hair, is so rude that she is not at all to work with people. She laughed in our face and owner or manager named Rinaldo just wave with his hand and go away, and then the problem was solved by her older colleague who was extremely kind. Extremely irritating awnings against the sun that rise and fall on their own overnight, probably depending on the wind. The beds are poorly connected, uncomfortable and move all the time. Breakfast is not at the level of a 4 star hotel.

I was on a business trip in the area and loved my stay at the Hotel. The rooms where amazing, the staff was exceptional and breakfast was delicious. It’s perfectly located in the city center, so you can walk everywhere downtown. And it has parking around the corner.

Great hotel and even greater Front Desk Manager Ms Muradi , she promptly replied to my email and arranged what i requested . Superior room second floor is wonderful , very clean with everything needed for an excellent stay. View is second to none , we had a restful sleep last night so peaceful outside .Difficult to find a city hotel without noise . Keep up the good work giving customers more than 100% satisfaction during their stay . George and Iliana

I stayed here for two days with a couple of friends. I was accompanying a friend for a wine presentation at the hotel. I enjoyed the stay, but after I left it occured to me I forgot my blouse (worth 70€). So I immediately called the reception for information, and they told me no problem, they would look for it and ship it for free if they managed to find it. They didn't reply to any email I sent them after the call. At least they could have replied with "sorry we could not find it". Very disrespectful.

Hôtel très bizarre : petit-déjeuner certes délicieux mais cher : 22€ en réservant et 26€ sans réserver à payer uniquement en cash ! Mais énorme déception chambre 117 : pas de machine à café et surtout douche complètement transparente et donnant sur chambre . Par ailleurs système d’éclairage incompréhensible. Bref ne referai pas

Perfektes Businesshotel, die Zimmer sind funktionell, sauber, die Betten hervorragend, das Personal überaus zuvorkommend, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bar wird sehr gut geführt, das Frühstück ist sehr gut und mehr als ausreichend. Empfehlenswert.

Achtung vor Überweisung an dieses Hotel! Die Buchung über die Website hat nicht funktioniert und 1 Tag später wurde der Betrag abgebucht und trotz mehrmaliger Urgenz von mir nicht zurückerstattet. Im Gegenteil habe ich noch ein unfreundliches Mail vom Direktor selbst erhalten. - Ich will gar nicht wissen, wie da ein Aufenthalt sein muss!!

Haben für den Silvestertag per Email um 9.00 Uhr einen Tisch für ein Frühstück bestellt, was uns freundlich bestätigt wurde. Um 9.00 Uhr angekommen, wird uns allen ernstes mitgeteilt, dass es Frühstück nur bis 9.30 gibt. Das Personal schob sich gegenseitig die Schuld zu. In einer schriftlichen Rückmeldung wurde es mitgeteilt, dass man uns auf die Öffnungszeiten hinweisen hätte können .... Können! Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. So eine Dreistigkeit ist unser langjährigen Tradition an Silvester frühstücken zu gehen noch nicht untergekommen. Es gibt Gott sei Dank genügend Hotels, die dies hervorragend können Das Hotel sm Dom kann es jedenfalls nicht.
