Wonderful hotel. Good location. It has everything. Rooms are very nice & modern. The rooms were always 100% clean & ready. Parking is inexpensive and so convenient. Check-in was so fast and easy - staff was very professional and helpful. Wael in the bar/restaurant was excellent. He remembered me each time, was great to chat with and made good beer recommendations. From beginning to end was an excellent 4-night & day experience. Will definitely be back.

Housekeeping-fabulous. Morning coffee-well done. Building itself-issues -walls paper thin, could hear everything next door. -next door guests partying until after 11 when I was jet lagged and tired. Tried to call the front desk but the phone was dead. Replaced the next day. Heating and fan controls in the room did not work. Surges of hot water while taking a shower.

Amazingly good!! Reception was warm and then the bar man was fantastic, he suggested an Austrian beer which was great and then he fed us too cos we arrived just a few minutes after the restaurant had closed!! Phew. The room was great, clean and very comfortable and we had a great rest and sleep, well worth a stop!!! Car park under the hotel too was also vert good with a lift up into the hotel.

Underwhelmed. River view is beautiful, rooms are clean and modern. Beds are comfort. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT the hotel is only good if you are here for work and don't plan to stay in the room to rest. Otherwise, expect to hear every single noise the people in the rooms above and next to you, and in the hallways, make. Everything housekeeping did, all their conversations, and all their door slamming and furniture moves, could be heard in the morning. So you can forget sleeping in. And forget keeping your windows open for fresh air during the day. There's constant construction noise ruining the beautiful Danube river view. And at night, you'll be kept awake because people stay out drinking and talking loudly in the courtyard till late hours into the night. Apparently the hotel does not ask them to mind the noise pollution so people in their rooms are not awakened.

Modern hotel with all amenities. The rooms and beds were excellent. And rooms are extremely well soundproof so no noise from the motorway at all. We really appreciated the air con as it was so hot when we were there. Lovely terrace and breakfast.

July 2022 we were in Prague in a 4 star hotel (Golden Star). Golden Star was excellent. Trans World Hotel Donauwelle has also a 4 star rating, but there are a lot of differences between the hotels. I would rate Trans World Hotel Donauwelle 2 max 3 stars. It was a solid hotel experience, buth don't expect the kind of luxury you will normally find in 4 stars rated hotel

Very poor client service. « Restaurant kitchen closes at 9pm » Ok… it’s already weird… but ok… so I arrive at 20:45 in the restaurant. « I make HUGE SIGNS ignored by waiters… until one finally comes and tells me « Kitchen is closed, Sir. Only snacks ». Ridiculous. Very bad experience.
