Cannot fault the location is is right on Rossio Square, right by a taxi stand and close to many sites. The breakfast was basic but good enough. There is coffee, water and sometimes tea available during the day. Staff was friendly. The downside for us was our room. We were in the Electric 28 room. it’s up 65 steps, the last flight was very steep. The room ceiling is all angles. You have limited area to stand up straight. you have to bend sideways to enter or leave the bathroom. there are two skylights in it that allow a stand up area, but getting off the loo could be, and was a head banger.

Despite its extremely central location, the guesthouse is situated in a square or rather in an area of Lisbon with a rather bad neighborhood and many people loitering on the street. For this reason in particular, it surprises you with a completely different world when you enter the hotel! We absolutely fell in love with this guesthouse! Everything is clean, new and beautifully furnished. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really very simple, but you have breakfast in a very cozy a**osphere. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and would always recommend the guesthouse to others! :-)

Guesthouse is located perfectly next to Praca do Rossio and close to trainstation Estação Ferroviária do Rossio, Praca Monumento aos Restauradores & Praça Martim Moniz, so perfect location for city sightseeing or easy and perfect access to public communication options. Staff is very kind, open and helpful, you can feel family a**osphere. Our room was cheapest option available, but still comfy with own bathroom and basic facilities needed for short stay.

We came to Lisbon for three nights. We were blown away by the kindness of the staff. From accommodating an early check-in(we were with 2 smaller children), to a nice breakfast and overall attention to detail, we had a great experience. Thank you LSG.

The staff at the property made all the difference. They were very welcoming and accommodating . Our host Catarina and Luis were very nice. Accommodated us for early checkin and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our breakfast was served in the apar**ent. The property location is ideal. You can walk to all major attractions in 10 mins or less. The surrounding area was noisy and dirty, there were random homeless hanging in front of the property from 8am-10pm. It was not unsafe at any time. We very much like our stay and would recommend to others looking got decent accommodation

Nice stay. Only stairs in property. Not a problem for us. But be aware if stairs are a problem for you.

This guesthouse was wonderful for a 5-night stay in Lisbon! They provided breakfast to our door every morning and were very helpful in recommending local areas to check out (where to eat, what to do). Check-in situation was a bit delayed due to an ******* mishap, so be sure to contact the staff before your arrival. Otherwise, an excellent experience and would go back again!

We've been coming to the Lisbon Story for almost ten years. When we last visited in 2020 as COVID was beginning, the guesthouse was being renovated from top to bottom. The results are impressive. Almost all rooms now have private bathrooms and the rooms are more spacious. The staff today are just as friendly and helpful as ever. Ligia was especially nice to us. The location is fantastic, close to the Rossio and Praca da Figuera. Breakfast is great. The Lisbon Story remains a great value for the money. But book early! It has been discovered. Highly recommend.
