My partner and I have just returned from a fantastic week at Devon Court, and we can honestly say that it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The property itself is steeped in history, dating back to the 19th century, but it has been lovingly maintained and updated to provide modern comforts and amenities. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the warm and friendly owners, Kyla and Martin. They couldn't do enough to ensure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Our room was nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed. And the breakfasts! Oh, the breakfasts were simply amazing! With a wide range of options available, they catered to our every whim and preference. What really impressed us was the level of service provided by Karla and Martin. They went out of their way to discuss attractions and places we could visit, including some excellent National Trust sites. They even provided us with detailed information on how to get there and what to expect. We felt like we were getting insider tips from friends who knew the area intimately. Another bonus was the heated pool, which was a lovely spot to relax in the evenings. And as for location, we couldn't have asked for more - it's just a few minutes' walk to the beach and local amenities, including a lovely walk along the coastal path. In short, our stay at Devon Court was truly exceptional. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Torquay. The fact that it's an adult-only property is a bonus, as we enjoyed the peace and quiet without any distractions. Thanks again to Kyla and Martin for making our stay so memorable. Devon Court is an exceptional place to stay. The B&B is perfect with It’s beautiful interior and exterior its gave me some home inspiration and hotel so homely and clean. The rooms are spacious with tea, coffee and biscuits and bathroom essentials including a mini bar fridge. The best part was the amazing heated outdoor pool. Parking is available. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before with a variety of options. I decided to take my mom on a break here over the bank holiday weekend. 27th - 29th May. We absolutely loved it, we felt so welcomed by Martin &Kyla nothing was too much trouble for them, such friendly warm geninue people who care about guests and there property. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family. 100% worth 5* Review. Thank You Martin &Kyla.

Excellent stay staff very obliging nothing was too much trouble for them .Room very comfortable.Breakfast good with plenty of choice .Hotel very clean situated in some lovely gardens a very short walk to the lovely Exmouth beech Great indoor Sports Centre with indoor heated pool also a lovely outdoor Swimming pool.I would certainly recommend a stay here I will return .

What a fabulous break we’ve just had at this hotel. Very friendly welcoming owners. Rooms very spacious and beautifully decorated, large comfortable bed, with tea/coffee making facilities plus mini bar. Lovely large windows overlooking the pool. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Great modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Two bonuses the wonderful heated outdoor pool, and the private parking on site. A cosy outside seating area which would be really nice on colder evenings. Very well stocked bar and lounge area to sit and chat. Breakfast also cooked fresh which was really delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely recommend.

Devon Court is an exceptional place to stay. The B&B is ‘top notch.’ It’s beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout and is 100% clean everywhere. The rooms are spacious with tea, coffee and biscuits which are replenished daily. There’s a heated outdoor pool and parking so every room has a carpark space. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before with a varied menu. (You won’t need lunch!) Martin and Kyla are friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they go the extra mile to ensure you to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. When we left we felt we’d made two new friends. We shall definitely return.

The Devon court B&B is spotlessly clean which is one of my main criteria we couldn’t fault it it’s very comfortable the rooms are modern and tastefully done the garden area with pool is lovely it was a balmy 28 degrees in the water martin and Kyla said we could go in anytime they would just pull the cover back it has a great bar area this fantastic B& B is in a perfect spot close to everything but far enough away so it’s quiet Martin and Kyla are very friendly and accommodating the breakfasts where exceptional nothing was to much trouble we would defiantly recommend The Devon Court to others and most defiantly go back again Thank you both for making our stay enjoyable Neil & Angie Waldron

Absolutely wonderful hotel. From check-in with Kyla to check out, everything was fab. Spotlessly clean in all areas. Had 2 Signature Suite rooms Aquamarine and Azzuro. Overlooking the pool area at front of hotel. Spacious and lovely. Breakfast was cooked to order from a menu in your room (pre order night before) and was stunning. Bar and pool area was lovely to sit and have a drink when returning from your day out and before going out in the evening. Can't describe how lovely this Hotel is. This was a our second stay with Martin and Kyla and it just gets better and better. The place is spotlessly clean and modern and chic with all the extra touches needed to make your stay a truly unique experience. Breakfast is a fine dining experience all prepared with excellent ingredients and cooked to perfection by chef Martin. The hotel very kindly opened the heated pool early for us and it was as the rest of the hotel is clean warm and a lovely relaxing atmosphere to chill out! Hostess with the most mostess is Kyla who looks after your every requirement without a fuss and she really is extremely knowledgeable about the whole Torbay area. We can't wait to go back!!! By far, the best and cleanest B&B we've stayed in, in Torquay. Friendly hosts, nice room , lounge and bar. Mini bars in rooms. Lovely breakfast, will have to come back in the summer months to use the outdoor pool. Conviently positioned for the Princess theatre. Will definitely be back again.
