ハレクラニ・デボン(Halekulani Devon)

We booked the double sea view room .When my husband phoned to confirm our arrival Ann offered a bigger room for £20 more which we took but wished we hadn't.It was only later that we realised you can't stand up to have a shower as there is no head room ,you have to sit on the side of the bath and try and wash yourself. The sink is also very small and hard to clean your teeth ,or in my husbands case shave Breakfast is well cooked but no pastries, croissants or jams and marmalade was offered . The views are amazing from the house and it is spotless but the room spoiled it for us . On leaving we were asked how the room was ,which when we told Ann she said we should have said earlier as she would have moved us to the biggest room .Don't know why we weren't offered that in the first place as there was nobody else in the place . We were also asked to give a review as she wanted her score up and it was only one or two reviews away from getting up to 9.5 and the person that got her there would get a free stay ,don't like that .

Fantastic location and a beautiful building. A warm welcome from Anne upon arrival. The standard of care and attention to detail from Anne was second to none. Can highly recommend staying here. The views are amazing. Rooms are well decorated and incredibly cozy beds. Nothing was too much trouble .

Had a really lovely time.Anne was extremely helpfull.The location is great and the house is very comfortable.lovely views and nature all around .The breakfast was fantastic,all fresh and beautifully presented.We really appreciated Annes local knowledge and reccomendations for places to visit /eat.

A fabulous home lovingly owned by our host Ann, immaculate accommodation throughout. Our room was great with stunning sea views and a bathroom with a lovely stand alone bath and separate shower. Really nice! Superb home cooked full breakfast with Ann both cooking and hosting. Great hospitality in this lovely home gave us a good experience which we intend to make the most off again, thank you.

Home from home, but better with a great home-cooked breakfast. Anne welcomed us into her home and looked after us for 3 days, with great suggestions of where to visit and eat. But privacy when we wanted it. Our room was luxurious warm and comfortable (great during the grim weather we had!) Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space, which looked very inviting, with a wonderful English countryside view across the valley. There's a lovely open plan lounge/dining area where you can relax and enjoy all this from indoors. We did this on arrival when Anne provided a Welcome pot of tea.

Anne is a super welcoming host. I felt like at home at Halekuani Devon and I do really hope to be back soon. The room was nice and very comfortable and Anne is the loveliest host you can hope for. The house is cozy and decorated with a superb taste.

Wow what an amazing place! Fantastic house with beautiful sea and country views. We were made to feel very welcome by Anne and everything in the house is top quality and full of character. Breakfast was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely friendly greeting from Anne, owner of Halekulani, who greeted us with a much appreciated cup of tea. Halekulani Homestay is a lovely stylish home with outstanding views from the breakfast room/lounge and from our bedroom of the sea and scenic farm land. Breakfast was delicious, cooked well with croissants served afterwards and fresh coffee. Bedroom we opted for had the extra large king bed, en-suite bath was small but we knew that. Luxury shower gels, hand wash and shampoos all provided which was a plus.

Halekulani is a beautiful home with breathtaking views, everything about our stay was perfect , our host Anne was so lovely and made our stay wonderful from our beautiful and very clean room with luxury en suit bathroom to the perfect breakfast with an amazing view , with only three rooms it was tranquil, so relaxing and felt very private , Anne couldn’t have been more helpful and thoughtful, we returned home feeling fully refreshed and happy ready for another busy week ! Only wish we could have stayed longer we will definitely be returning hopefully soon, many thanks to Anne a perfect host .
