Great experience, great service, friendly staff. Food was also good. Hotel is close to beach, hygiene was good, rooms were clean. It was more than we expected, considering the price we payed for. We were guests of this hotel in May, so it wasn't overcrowded, very calm, but in a good way. Definitely would visit again.

Wow, what a lovely stay at the hotel we had ! Sunday-Friday, rooms were lovely and clean, cleaned throughly each day too. Bathroom and shower we’re lovely, soap and shampoo were provided. Beds were slightly hard but was able to sleep on them. Walls are slightly thin so you can hear everything ! ( we got told off one night for laughing to much outside) We stayed half board, breakfast was lush each morning, the food selection was brilliant, fresh cooked pancakes and the omelettes oh my were amazing !! Tea time food wasn’t the best but it was edible and you didn’t go hungry ! Desserts were lush. Pool area clean and nice, only thing I’d say is when the season gets busy there wouldn’t be enough beds. Snack bar wasn’t open either it was opening on the 10th SAVED THE BEST UNTIL LAST- TOM the barman was such a nice person, he was so attentive to use and made us so welcome, we didn’t go out much as he was such good company ! If you like knowledge he will test you and his cocktails are to die for, make sure you ask for a SURPRISE COCKTAIL , we had many and they were so nice ! We would stay here again as it wasn’t far from the beach and situated on a quiet area

Rooms basic, and in need of an update. AC free of charge. Safety deposit boxes didn’t work so we never allowed room to be cleaned but we only stayed 3 nights. A small refresh on the rooms and it would be spot on for a budget holiday. Bar area clean and tidy, pint of beer €3. Pool area area small but tidy. Less than 100m from the beach with magnificent crystal clear water. Some nice local bars if you don’t want to head into the busy Lloret de mar resort area. Would definitely return to Fenal, but not to the city.

Great hotel. Rooms are quite small but have everything needed and really clean. Good drinks at the bar, great breakfast and the team were lovely. Location is brilliant and lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Wouldn’t stay here again, rooms look nothing like the photos they’re absolutely tiny , downstairs is very misleading as the downstairs is lovely and modern and gives the look of a great hotel then you get to your room and it’s a complete let down. Absolutely tiny bath and toilet with grotty tiling, given 3 single beds when asked for a double, you can hear everything from conversations to the toilet flushing from other rooms as the walls are that thin , there’s no space at all to walk around the room, no draws or storage, no kettle or fridge , all you get is a small wardrobe and a bed really, the balcony is tiny and you can see onto everyone’s balcony’s due to the walls being so small and being so compact , the furniture on the balcony are just extremely cheap plastic seats that you just don’t really want to sit on. Reception staff are unhelpful and rude, honestly just don’t waste your money staying here , it’s also very loud at night with people going out partying but that didn’t really bother us as we’re young but can imagine it would bother older people or people with children.

They brought the youth in buses, there is no peace at night,drinks, smokes, makes noise all night.Reception staff do nothing, are indifferent to everything.Very poor sound insulation . Good place only.

My friend and I recently stayed at Alegria Fenals Mar in Lloret de Mar. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. On our very first day, we were dismayed to discover black mold on the ceiling of our room, which had a detrimental effect on our health. The musty odor was overwhelming, making our stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our peace, prompting us to cut our stay short and leave on Sunday instead of Monday. While the hotel did change our room on Friday morning due to the mold issue, we were disappointed that there was no compensation for the inconvenience caused. The situation significantly impacted our vacation, turning what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable time into a rather unpleasant and wasted experience. Despite these setbacks, I must commend the hotel for its breakfast service and the kindness of its staff. The breakfast was a bright spot during our stay, and the staff members were genuinely nice and friendly, doing their best to make us feel welcome. In conclusion, our stay at Alegria Fenals Mar was marred by issues such as black mold, an uncomfortable musty smell, and disruptive noise from neighboring rooms. While the breakfast service and staff were commendable, these positives unfortunately could not salvage what turned out to be a disappointing and regrettable holiday.

Had a lovely short stay at Algeria Fenals. Rooms were tidy and completely perfect for the 2 of us. Fresh towels and beds made every morning. Bathroom door didn’t completely shut but this wasn’t a problem for us. Walls were thin so you could hear next door shower and flush the toilet but it never really bothered us. Balcony great space. Breakfast was brilliant, especially the fry up, pancakes and fruit. The coffee machine was a bonus too! Staff were all very lovely, especially the barman! There are a small amount sun beds but when we went to the pool at 10am we managed to secure 5 sun beds so never had an issue with this. Location is brilliant, 5 minute walk from the beach and a 15 minute uphill walk to the centre (bare in mind that if you go to the centre of lloret or the nearby lidl then you will have to walk uphill and up stairs). Recommend La Lonja for Tapas/Paella and the Highway man pub did great litre cocktails for €10! Allergen note: if you can’t eat gluten like one of our friends couldn’t, then the hotel breakfast only offers a gluten free roll and a gluten free muffin.

Pros: really great location super close to the beach, nice pool, great bar and friendly staff Cons: tiny room with no tables or drawers, no fridge or kettle in the room, uncomfortable beds, unable to check in until 2pm, not a lot of sunbeds round the pool so getting one is like hitting the jackpot, walls are very thin Me and my friend were only there for 4 nights and overall the hotel served it’s purpose and i would stay here again but for longer holidays I would find an alternative with larger rooms
