GOOD POINTS! The hotel is ideal for an overnight stay. It's withing easy walking distance from the Queens road station and has plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. Self check in was quick and easy, with full instructions emailed to you in advance. The staff were friendly, approachable. The breakfast / chill room in the basement is quirky and has a good supply of teas and filter coffee that you can help yourself to at anytime of day or night. The room has a supply of fresh fluffy towels and a supply of soap and wash gel. I did partake of the optional continental breakfast at a cost of £8. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, sourdough bread, different milk and milk free options. And pastries and muffin
The NOT SO GOOD POINTS! My particular bathroom was on the small side, with a narrow opening point for the shower door, the shower however was good and powerful. The bed/mattress was uncomfortable and the bed could do with full size pillows. There was nowhere really to put clothes etc away, and a mirror on the desk area would be useful.
The main issue was noise. It is on a very busy road without double glazing ( which can't be helped ) and the noise continues to one degree or another day and night, and then you get the other quests coming in late at night early in the morning making a lot of noise without being spoken to by staff to keep it down. My advice to others would be wear earplugs! (maybe this is something that could be provided in the rooms?)
