ホテル カレント(Hotel Current)

This is a great hotel. Renovated very nicely. It seems a little weird getting to it and looks more like an apartment complex, but has a beautiful lobby and the room was fantastic. Modern, clean, and comfortable. Perfect for a brief overnight stay or ean extended trip.

The room itself was furnished and decorated nicely, and I could tell that they were going for a modern vibe. However, the WiFi didn't work, which was frustrating for me as a business traveler. The woman who checked me in was not particularly friendly, and I found it a little annoying that a hotel that is not next to any type of transit would charge for parking. That being said, it was a good price for the room, and if they fix the WiFi I would stay there again.

Great Hotel at a great price! Hotel room was awesome and very modern with an Art Deco vibe. Very comfortable bed and loved the open shower with no bathtub and water pressure was great! Definitely stay here again! Thanks 🙏

This place is not for the nit-picky people. Personally, I love the room I have. It had enough space, the bed was clean, sheets didn’t look sketchy, the air conditioning works perfectly, the bathroom is clean, heater is working, lights are working. I only wish there were utensils and tooth brushes. Luckily, I brought my own. The TV is outdated but who watches tv nowadays? I think this place is perfect for people on a budget but still want to be comfortable.

The walls were thin, you could hear lots of outside noise (cars coming and going, street traffic, music being played into the parking lot, people knocking on neighboring doors and talking in the parking lot). I tried to drown the noise out with the air conditioner, but that only worked intermittently even on the coldest setting. The room was meh, it seemed surface level clean and could benefit from a deep clean and updating. The sink was very slow to drain, the on-demand tv didn’t work.

The property is on the older side and definitely has the feel of a motel, rather than a hotel. The staff were quite friendly at check-in. There was a lot of noise from slamming doors. A car alarm went off several times. Vending machines would be nice. The room itself (138) had all the basics, including a television set that worked. Drains worked properly. I had plenty of room. Air conditioning worked fine. Uber Eats delivers here and arrive rather quickly when called. All in all, my experience has been a pleasant one.

I was there before and after my cruise . Proximity to highway makes it so noisy. Building is so old and door is not tight so air and noise can easily feel and hear. Before my cruise on night I had to move to another unit at 1:30 am. The people next door were parting so we couldn’t sleep. Again same thing happened after my cruise, I had to move to another unit at 3Am. So frustrating. This place I can hardly call it motel. Totally west of money .

It is definitely a motel. A car is best to get around and see sights. It’s a place to sleep for the night rather than hang out. That said, the interior of the rooms are modernized, very nice, and very clean. PCH1 on one side, quiet neighborhood on the other.
