Our welcome was amazing. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very Clean and neat. Breakfast and dinner was always delicious and well presented. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

We needed a nice stopover en route home fm Zim. The guesthouse is so elegant with books and pictures of birds everywhere. Our room was lovely and the shower was fantastic. Dinner in the dining room was lovely as was breakfast. Our hosts - perfect.

Wonderful place to stay, we stopped on the way to and from Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe as a place to stay before crossing the border. But would also be a lovely place to stay if visiting the area. Rooms clean and comfortable with lovely views of the mountains, good food and great wine cellar and pool room for fun times. We had a great stay and we’re well looked after. Peaceful and secure.

My colleague and I both pilots had a 6 day stay over here. The accommodation was excellent and our hosts Mark and Clarissa couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming . Food was great and the all the staff were friendly and attentive. Beautiful location in sprawling gardens - absolutely recommend this excellent establishment ! We were even given the use of a vehicle to pop into town at no cost- good old fashioned hospitality !

What a beautiful oasis! Cuckoos Nest is like a home away from home, a lovely house nestled in lush gardens, that one feels is your own while you are there. 8 of us stayed there and really did feel like we were at home. We swam, enjoyed drinks in the garden and were served delicious dinners and breakfasts. The rooms were spacious, spotless and so comfortable. The staff were welcoming and so friendly. Clarissa was brilliant with communication from the moment we booked until we were all safely back home after our trip and Mark really made us feel welcome and relaxed. I would highly recommend this spot!

Wonderfull house and rooms. Beautifull garden with excellent views. The winecellar topped it all. Most welcoming owners that go out of their way to make your stay even more pleasurable. The highlight was a private tour on the family owned macademia- farm accompanied by the whole family and dogs and topped with a sundowner with magnificent views! We definitely recommend this place. Travelling with 2 adults and two teens.

It was my 3rd time staying over for work, however this I arranged an extra day for rest and relaxation. Ended up having the best braai (with homemade pap&sauce&salads) and relaxing by the pool area :-) Next time I am bringing the family for a holiday!

Great property the wifi could get better good enough for email but not much else
