Pleasantly surprised at the price, quality, and service at this hotel. I arrived after 2:00am as an exhausted walk-in, and the young man working the desk went way, way, way, above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable. I didn't even know I had a Hilton Hhonors membership, but he found it and gave me the member price. I had a nice rest, a yummy breakfast in the morning and then - DERP! - drove off without my guitar. I didn't even think of it until I was 5 hours down the road and could not turn back to go get it. But guess what? - the morning clerk found it for me and arranged to have it shipped to my home in Colorado. Me and my guitar are home now and looking forward to visiting Lubbock again.
Great experience from check-in to check-out. Really beautiful hotel that makes you wish you always had one more night. The rooms are very retro with outstanding amenities. I love how the décor pays homage to the local history and landscape. Shower water presser is outstanding and high end toiletries are provided. Had a wonderful time at the Midnight Shift Restaurant & Bar. Cocktails were amazing, food was great and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
Rudy is an awesome person! He made my stay smooth and enjoyable! We need more people like him in the hotel industry! Highly recommend him a raise for how courteous and helpful he was! Great man, he made my stay worth it! I was really stressed with work and needed some documents printed and he saved my presentation!
I LOVE staying at the Aloft in Lubbock! The atmosphere is so zen and calming, and the beds make you feel like you don't want to leave. I love how quiet it can be and you're right there in the midst of all the things to do! Loads of places to eat
ゲゲストThe hotel is a prime location, and the cost wasn’t bad. I did notice there was, I think oil drops splattered all over the inside of the windows in our room that had not been wiped off. We did ask for a roll in bed, which we did have to go downstairs to get, and push it up ourselves. We were all very disappointed because the pool does not open till 11 on Sundays, and that’s the same time as check out. We had a wrestling tournament the night we stayed in the hotel, which we checked into prior, but didn’t even get to lay down to sleep until 1:00a.m. We also heard that people above us stomping around for probably another hour and a half after we were in bed. I’ll give it a little below standard level, but not terrible.
LLex DangerWow, this stay was fabulous! I stayed for 2 nights and I knew it would be great because BJ's Restaurant was literally less than 2 minutes away by walking! They were festive for Halloween in the lobby! In the morning, I indulged in their breakfast. They had a waffle maker, assorted fruits, juices and water with lemon.
The rooms are very clean and all your amenities are there; they do not have their travel sized take home amenities which is great to me. They have refillable lotions, shampoo, conditioner etc...
I would stay here again and again!
A decent place to stay for a couple of nights if you’re in West Lubbock. There are some good dining options within a couple of miles, including some well-known chains and a couple of good local restaurants like Plaza and Teddy Jack’s. For a Fairfield, the fitness center was well equipped, the breakfast was decent both mornings I was here. The yogurt fridge was well stocked, but I didn’t see any fresh berry options. Minor inconveniences included the elevator not being operational (I was on the first floor, fortunately.) and the side doors to the parking lot, not allowing entry back into the building… One has to enter through the main entrance every time. However, my room was very clean upon check-in, and the staff was polite (especially the kitchen guy). There is a train track across Milwaukee Avenue, but I only heard/saw one train on my stay, and that was an extremely short one.
Everything was nice except we woke up to a hallway full of **** smell in the middle of the night. The hotel took care of it the next day.Food was great, area was great, would definitely stay again. Manager was very gracious
ゲゲストWe thoughtly enjoyed our stay at La Quinta.Everyone was very friendly, it was nice and clean with a great breakfast. We had a warm feeling when we arrived. They acknowledged us immediately with a smile. They're very helpful. We're visiting from Californiaテキサスホテルへ
It was an okay stay. Beds were fine. Door & lock worked. Shower worked and was clean. That’s all we really needed. However, this place looks like it used to be a luxury hotel, but now it’s really run down. It actually kinda made me sad to see how run down it looks from its glory days that I imagine in my mind. Even my 7 yo daughter said “wow, this place looks like it used to be really pretty”. I think if some corporate executives came by and saw the state of this place, they would feel the same way and maybe give them the budget for the improvements that it really needs.
MMindyLu42214Every time that I've stayed at this hotel, I've been bitten by bugs. The people who work there are extremely rude and unprofessional. Checkout time is 11am. At 10am, they start knocking on everyone's door, harassing them about if they're checking out or not. Even when I was having severe diarrhea and desperately needed to stay near a bathroom, 3 different people knocked on our door, twice while I was still in the bathroom. They were all harassing us about checking out. I went to an urgent care clinic and I had an accident on the way there because I wasn't able to stay at the hotel near the bathroom because they kept harassing us to leave. They did NOT care about my severe diarrhea. The least they could do is give me a full refund. I was also severely bitten by bugs that night/morning as well.
