Booked 7 rooms for our two families (ages 20-60) just before the wedding. We left the newlyweds to stay for an additional night. We are all left with an urge to go back for another visit, when the weather is better and allows the use of the pools. The newlyweds got the room with private pull and a hot tub and used the hot tub in the cool-cold weather... loving every minute of the room and the hotel. We, the marrying parents, decided upon arrival to downgrade from a shared 2-suite pool (which we wouldn't have enjoyed in the sudden cold weather) to a regular in-building room. Well they weren't very "regular". The rooms are amazing! Spacious, beautifully designed, having one of the best bathrooms (bath, shower and separate toilets) we've ever encountered. Not to mention the views or the peace and quiet. All of us really loved the concept of eating at "The Lounge", which is basically the hotel lobby, but feels indeed like a lounge. Coffee, tea and baked goods are there all the time, except for when preparing for the dinner - which was excellent, or serving - dinner and breakfast. They have both a rich buffet and a-la-carte dishes in both meals. Warmly recommended!

My spouse and I chose Gordonia Hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a great time indeed! First, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a luxurious suite that has a private pool and hot tub. This room was amazing, and in general I'd recommend to take a room with a private pool if possible, the room offers 100% privacy and breathtaking views. The hotel's design is tasteful and elegant. There is an open and bar which is available 24/7, an infinity pool with gorgeous view, several hot tubs and saunas, and a nice looking (yet pretty small) GYM. The hotel staff was exceptionally hospitable, making our stay all the more enjoyable. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Now, onto the food. While it was delicious, I must admit that the exclusively dairy menu left me wanting more variety. The main dishes, served by waiters, were tasty but somewhat limited in portion size.

A piece of heaven in Jerusalem mountains.. The garden around is outstanding. The food is excellent. The service is magnificent. We have got special treatment from every worker here. Ruthi at the reception and all the other girls, shlomi the shef in the dining room, and many others.. the experience was great and it is worth all the money we spend here. The pool is beautiful with a great view to see around.

From the second I entered the hotel noa greeted us. I mention to my husband how I need tea I wasn't feeling so well. She made sure I had a cup in seconds. The place is stunning, the staff is amazing. Would only say they need staff by the pool asap. Also wish we had late breakfast option and was able to do late check out. But will Definitely still return.

Gorodnia is a private boutique hotel, positioned as high-end luxyry hotel. while it is very expensive (Especially the suites w/private pool), the value for money is not great and the entire experience is far from perfect, with below average food, and other misc. issues that make you feel this is just another hotel nothing else.

Tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped rooms. Amazing mountains view through the window walls. Huge bathroom. Beautifully designed lobby, with free-of-charge coffee, wines and snacks 24x7. Super friendly and attentive staff (sometimes trying too hard..) Very good SPA services. Large variety of tasty dishes in both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely visit again.

One of the best hotels in Israel (and the world). It starts with the service which is superb, whatever you need, whenever you need it - they will get it for you, and with a great smile. The suites are amazing, the view is breathtaking and the food, oh the food, even if you don’t eat gluten, is fresh, so tasty and soooo good. Worth every penny and definitely requires revisiting for more.

We took the most expensive suit, the price was so high and we don’t feel it was justified. The room was big and nice but the overall experience wasn’t that exclusive, the variety of food was limited in dinner and In breakfast, the coffee machine was slow and got stuck all the time, the dining area is small and close to the reception, feels like a small regional hotel , the staff was nice but didn’t know to recommended even basic things to do in area, there was no entertainment in the evening , the hotel outside area looked not maintained to a high standard, we felt that the value for money was low
