I am not sure where to begin. They have given the exterior of the building a face lift, but once I got into the room, there were several issues.
Major issues:
SAFETY - when opening the door to exit the bathroom, there was an electrical current running through the door handle. At first, I thought my hand was cramping, but I soon realized it was an electrical current. This is a huge safety issue. I don't know if the handle was somehow touching electrical wires in the recently "renovated" wall or what, but this is not safe. I had to open the door with a towel wrapped around the handle so I didn't get shocked.
Cleanliness - we were charged an additional $20 cleaning fee, but I don't know what that was for because this room had not been cleaned. I walked back to the bed to change after showering and when I stepped on my towel to finished drying my feet, it was as if I had walked through mud. Also, one of the towels in the bathroom had brown stains on it before use and another towel had a bunch of long black curly hairs on it (I'm blond and have short hair, so this was not mine.) I felt dirty after showering and was afraid to walk barefoot in the room. This is unacceptable, especially if they are going to charge an additional cleaning fee.
Maybe this place is still under renovations or something, but all of the "new" furniture looks like it was purchased at a consignment store and many pieces had holes in them. This was the least of my concerns. The other review must be fake.
