Residence Inn Madison East

Pool and hot tub are not working. Breakfast was poor one day, better the second.

This is located with a dozen other name brand hotels, so we were surprised to find out how tired the decor was. Beat up walls in the elevator, groans when the elevator was working, tired furniture in the room. But, I'm happy the breakfast offerings were varied and they used washable plates. We just needed to crash for the night, but if I would to spend more time in town, or had a different purpose, I would choose another hotel.

Very friendly staff. Great room loved the fireplace and spacious room.

May 26, 2022, I came to your hotel; I had instructions to meet there with our team. Mr. Nicholas Wagner, thank you so very much for giving me a great rate to stay at your fabulous hotel. Later, I found out that I had been given the wrong location to meet, so I only stayed one night. I had never stayed at a Residence Inn. Your rooms are very clean and beautiful. From now on, I will check these hotels out when I am traveling. Hopefully, they will have great managers like you. Again, thank you for welcoming me at your hotel, giving me such a great rate and a very nice place to stay..

The people at the front desk very nice and helpful. The places could use some updating and many new chairs, bed was soft but we slept very well. It is old but very clean. Breakfast was great! Will stay there again.

We stayed one night for a sporting event in the area. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool so our kids could swim. The pool area is nice (no hot tub), but the kids dipped their toes in the pool and it was freezing. There was no heat and the kids couldn't stay in, it was so cold. It was also dirty on the bottom and the kids said it tasted like salt. I asked the desk worker, who was very nice, if she knew about the pool and she said she had heard that but wasn't able to fix anything. We didn't see a single person in the pool during our stay...makes sense. The room was set up nicely and breakfast was okay as well.

Like the dishwasher pots and silverware staff was nice

I was in Madison when a family member was having surgery, which can be a stressful time. I cannot begin to state all superlatives about the treatment I received from the staff. The managers, Nicholas and Max, the desk rep, Nat and Ashley who was cleaning the hall and elevator were amazing, thoughtful and helpful. The positive feeling you get working with these people is that they care, and their service reflects that. I did stay in a two-bedroom, two bath room with a fireplace in the living room and fully equipped kitchen. They provide a wonderful ful breakfast, and I don't know what else I could have wanted in a stay. I highly recommend this location.

I had the pleasure of staying at your hotel in and I would like to recognize one of your employees. I was in town for business and when I checked in, I was greeted by Nat who was on duty at the front desk. Nat was very professional and courteous and answered my questions thoroughly upon my arrival and throughout my stay. Nat had the check-in process and check-out process completed in an expedited and efficient manner. The breakfast had many options and the manager worked diligently to make sure that all breakfast items were properly stocked. The room was very spacious and comfortable.
