The hotel stay was excellent but it was - Holiday Inn!!?!?!
The booking reference stated "If a late check-in is planned, contact this property directly". We planned to arrive around 7 pm, but came later. I could not find Gaia Residence at that address. I came to the same block after circling for an hour 3 times around complex hilly old suburb with numerous roundabouts and slip lanes. I finally decided to ask nearby Holiday Inn hotel reception for directions., You can imagine our surprise and frustration when they said that they are the same as Gaia Residence!!!! Why wouldn't my reservation instructions state that!!!
Other than that please give 8 out of 10 to the property! Highly recommended!

This apartment is superb value! Perfect! Three things to know - 1. It is INSIDE the Holiday Inn, being an apartment managed by the front desk. They don't tell you that. 2. The kitchen is abominably set up with no dish towel or paper towels, a smattering of utensils, and so on. 3. We were given a smoking room! The desk found us a non-smoking one, which made it all good.

Gaia Residence is in Holiday Inn but they don’t say this. You get a nice big room but it lacks the basics like a dust bin in the room and, dining table and chairs. There’s a tiny kitchen with a hob, kettle and microwave but not really useful without the dinner table. Breakfast on 2nd floor is fine but similar each day. Hotel is quite far out in Gaia city and not that well served by public transport although we used the Andente Tour card to get the buses within 10 minutes walk. There’s a supermarket about 5 minutes away where you can buy water and stuff.
