ウィートシーフ(The Wheatsheaf Inn)

A good value hotel close to the town centre. We stayed for a couple of nights whilst walking Ingleton falls. All the staff throughout our trip were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was well cooked and coffee plentiful. The drinks in the room with Colombian coffee bags was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. Our room was at the front of the property so if you sleep with the windows open it could potentially be noisy. If I had to give some negative points it would be that the hotel interior is looking “tired” and would benefit from redecorating and new carpets throughout. Would I stay here again? The answer would be yes.

Came to the restaurant part of the hotel as options in the village are limited on Mondays and Tuesdays for food and we were staying at a B&B not far away. Thankfully they had space as we hadn't booked a table. Very comfy, light and spacious. Prompt , pleasant service where our drinks were brought to the table as well as food and condiments. We ordered meat and chicken burgers. The meat burger was divine and full of flavour. The chicken burger while tasty was a little bit tough for chicken. Altogether a nice place and just slightly unlucky with the chicken burger.

There was a lovely and friendly welcome. The room was clean & tidy with the necessary amenities. We had a delicious breakfast with plentybof options. Set us just right for the Falls walk. I would definitely recommend it as a good place to stay.

Called in here on a whim for Sunday lunch. Wow what a find! Fantastic Sunday beef lunch and great sticky toffee pudding for afters. This will definitely be our go to in future next time we’re passing.

Came for one night as had a customer meeting the following day. The hotel is a nice normal village hotel. Clean good value and cosy but the service is very good I turned up with a reservation they lady who served me is amazing very bubbly all the time and served drinks cleaned tabled and chatted with customers with a charming efficiency. I will be back.

Went into this friendly pub after doing the waterfall trail. Fantastic welcome and we stopped for some comforting food. What really stood out though was the amazing girl on the bar , Abigail, the place was swamped with people on a wet Saturday but even though on her own she never stopped smiling and served everyone quickly and brilliantly. Whatever you pay her it's not enough.

Friendly service, good pub food. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. The stack burger was fabulous! The pulled pork dirty fries were delicious. Puddings went down a treat with the younger members of the party! Just wish there was a no dogs policy in the restaurant. Sadly, we wouldn’t return because of the dogs issue.

The room is clean, bed was comfy and good tea making facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We both had full English. Coffee was filtered and not too strong.

Super cosy and fabulous breakfast. The Wheatsheaf is a lovely little pub/b&b rooms are no frills but clean and comfortable with lovely little touches like local home made biscuits in the rooms. Breakfast was top notch and cooked to order. I would definitely come back. Thanks calum
