トラヴァイグ ハウス ホテル(Toravaig House Hotel)

This is a superb hotel. In a great location with sea views and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Skye. The venue is scrupulously clean, clearly well-maintained and very comfortable. Our room was a double, with a spa-like en-suite and a seating area in front of a picture window giving fantastic views out over the meticulously maintained gardens and grounds. We found the room and bed to be very comfortable. The hotel also has a dining room, shared lounge and bar facilities. Breakfast is cooked on site and was a really quality meal and well enjoyed. Evening meals are available at a sister hotel nearby or you can take advantage of one of the many great restaurants nearby. Ample car parking is available on site as well. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel and its appoin**ents at all but I should mention the outstanding feature of this place, which is the staff. They were quite simply brilliant. Helpful to a fault, friendly and knowledgable about the island. They elevated our stay from memorable to superb. In summary this was a great quality, relaxing stay made all the better by the staff there.

A lovely hotel with great staff who made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was very good. The room was small but comfortable and well equipped. As the hotel's restaurant was still closed in the evenings you can eat at their sister hotel with a free shuttle but you do need to pre-book as we could not get in for the first two nights. It is worth it as the food is excellent.

For our first time visiting the isle of skye, we had originally intended to stay closer to Portree but it seemed everything was already booked. We ended up booking with Toravaig House hotel and it did not disappoint! We ended up liking that the location was a little off the beaten path and the room and breakfast were wonderful. They kindly booked us a dinner reservation at the sister hotel Duisdale and the food and service were wonderful. Highly recommend eating there. We only stayed at the hotel one night before moving on but definitely wish we could have stayed longer.

Clean and large room with a nice view, but no privacy (window goes to patio without day curtains) and overall totally overpriced for what they offer. For example it wasn't possible to get a second duvet for the double bed.

Great service and food. Very clean and comfortable, modern interior. Breakfast is great and they source as much food as possible locally. Home made fruit compote with yoghurt was v tasty.

Toravaig was advertised as a Hotel & Restaurant but due to staff shortages there was no chef. No bar snacks or food (other than breakfast) was available. We wouldn't have chosen a B&B so felt very disappointed when we arrived. Room was very small. As there was no food available we were given an outdated list of alternative eateries (some where either closed for renovation or numbers didn't connect) Staff were super helpful despite this and we were able to transfer to their sister hotel Duisdale 4 miles down the road which was AWESOME - we will def go back

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sarah and Lisa gave us helpful advice on things to see and do. The room was very comfortable and clean , we had a lovely view too ( Room 3) The breakfast was substantial . No dinner here but they do have a free shuttle to a near by hotel where we had a lovely meal. The other evenings we ate out at our own choosing .

The hotel location was fantastic with an excellent location near the ocean. Finding the hotel is easy and there is a good amount of parking as well. It is also next to the Torabhaig Distillery which is one of the reasons this location was chosen. Breakfast was excellent with a great menu to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room I had was accessed from outside and it was wonderful and well laid out. Nice separate shower along with a deep bath tub for relaxing. The room was also extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. The only downside is that due to the door exiting outside, a green emergency exit light must be on at all times to follow fire regulations. I like really dark rooms and so this was a bit annoying. My understanding is that this is the only room like this. Again a great room!

Comfortable and cozy B&B style small hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Updated room and bathroom. Hotel is located in a beautiful and remote area. My only complaint was that it was about an hour or so drive to hiking and tourist sites.
