カサ ルラル エル リンコン デ モンフラージュ(Casa Rural El Rincon de Monfrague)

We stayed here five nights at the end of May and could not have been more delighted with our choice of accommodation. Although the casa rural is based on an old historic building it has been very tastefully renovated and modernised inside, while retaining key historic features .Our room was large, modern and air-conditioned, with a huge ultra modern bathroom and tasteful lighting: the Wifi signal was excellent throughout the building. The family who own the casa rural have gone out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. English is spoken although they were also very patient when we attempted to speak Spanish! Breakfasts are a buffet feast with every imaginable offering: fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cold meats, cheese, various breads and a very considerable array of homemade cakes! Food is not served in the evenings but there were pleasant places to eat within walking distance if you do not want to drive into Placencia. There is pleasant garden with a small pool which was not yet open for the season when we were there, but was due to open in mid June.

Nice rooms! Big, very new, comfy bed, great bathroom. Historical building in a small town. Highly recommend. Very personable. English speaking! Writing this before breakfast but I’m sure that will be awesome too. 15 minutes from Plasencia which our host recommended some great parking and restaurant tips.

Very romantic , a hidden gem , run by a lovely family who can really take care of their guests. Rooms are big, bathrooms even bigger, every detail is harmonic: outside is a pool, a garden and an open kitchen with bbq. We could park in front of the building because was low season . The family explained very passionately about the restoration of the old house and told us plenty of things about the surroundings . It s a rural hospitality, so please don’t pretend to be in a fancy 5 stars hotel: the village is quite, at least in December when we visited for 2 nights. As far as now (45 days in Spain traveling) the BEST BUFFET BREAKFAST EVER: absolutely first class charcuterie and cheese, boleria and bread self made, as marmalades and cakes , finger food as well. We loved it and could only recommend it 100%!!

Unfortunately the Hotel was closed on my arrival even though I had a reservation. With help from the local police I did after fifteen mins gain entry. The staff were helpful. Garmin satnav did not find the Hotel I had to use the Waze app. Improved stable stair rails really need to be fitted. Overall on a bright summers I am sure you would enjoy a pleasant stay

small city without a lot around but a very nice property with great service & breakfast. Very modern & clean large room in a quiet neighborhood.

Encantadora y autentica casa rural. El desayuno es el paraiso de cualquier goloso y las personas que la atienden son muy atentas, la recomiendo totalmente. El jardincito debe ser una delicia en las noches de verano

Sólo puedo decir que cualquier palabra que dedique a intentar explicar como ha sido nuestra experiencia en este alojamiento, no va a conseguir reflejar lo cómodos que nos hemos sentido desde que llamamos al timbre de la casa por primera vez. Todo tipo de detalles, tanto en la recepción como en la habitación en la que nos hospedamos, que contaba con todos los servicios que se esperan en un hotel rural. Lo de los desayunos es harina de otro costal, digno de ver el banquete que preparan todas las mañanas con repostería casera, zumos naturales, tostadas y un sinfín de delicias. Si podemos, repetiremos 100%.

Casa rural con mucho encanto. Personal muy amable Nos explicaron todo lo que habia que visitar en los alrededores. Desayuno espectacular !! La habitacion tenia todo el confort necesario para un buen descanso. Felicitaciones para los dueños !!
