Upon arrival make sure to avoid the concierge. They will attempt to upsell you on plenty of things you do not need like a $175 a day 10X10 pop up by the pool that they try and call a cabana. The food at the resort is VERY good but also VERY expensive. The breakfast buffet is $34 each and there is no where else to sit and eat in the morning without leaving. Remember to pack a tumbler and make your own drinks. Drinks range from $12-$18 The resort is pretty far from old San Juan 45/55 minutes. The rooms are completely neglected. The mattress didn’t even have a fitted sheet. There was no mattress cover, and the mattress itself was absolutely disgusting. They don’t have a cleaning crew at night for the pool and hot tub area and you can’t use them after 10PM. You can’t even use the lounge chairs in the area. A lot of the staff were fun and did their best to make sure you felt comfortable and were enjoying your time. There are no managers overseeing the day to day. Some staff would sit on their phone and be annoyed to make you another drink at the swim up bar. The beach was great, the pools seemed clean enough. The area around the pools needed attention the entire weekend. No attempt was made to clean. We found a really fun jet-ski tour on the beach which was so much fun and worth the $140. Make sure to look for the tour and not just the rental. This place was definitely not worth what we paid for it. The food was the only good part and it is as I said very expensive.

Someone stole my shoes at the pool/ beach and it is supposed to be a secluded beach. So it’s has to be the people at the property. The staff didn’t look for it much. Very lax attitude

We really loved our staying at Wyndham. We visited Puerto Rico to celebrate our friend's birthday and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is upscale with beautiful pools and palm trees around. The food also very good with many options. Angel the concierge helped us to accommodate and he was extremely helpful professional and went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place

A very nice hotel in a gorgeous location. The staff was particularly terrific. My only suggestion is that the hotel could use a bit of an update.

The property itself such as the landscaping and lobby areas is beautiful and well kept. However, the rooms need a lot more attention. The first room I stayed in I believe was 5046 it smells like mildew as soon as you open the room door that is the welcoming smell before entering the room. I had to keep the balcony door open the entire time I stayed in the room and requested a new room because the room I paid for was not available which is how I ended up in this room. The rooms need a dehumidifier seems to be a problem that needs to be addressed. While at the firepit one night another guest that was on the 3rd floor stated that their room smells like mildew. The carpet in the hallways need shampooing because you can smell the moisture there as well. I know most of the attention is put into the "owners" side of the resort, but the "renters" side needs some attention. Overall, the property is clean as far as the lobby area and landscape. The view of the ocean and resort from the rooms are breathtaking.

Close proximity to the pool. A very large lobby area to hangout in. A lot of seating choices inside. Prices on food and drinks were high.

Beautiful location. Beach was perfect, not too crowded, clean, plenty of chairs available. Linens- towels, throw rugs etc… could use an upgrade
