ザ スティル ビーチ ハウス(The Still Beach House)

I dont know where to start. I loved everything about this place. The room was updated and nice, the ocean view balcony was breathtaking, the cleaning staff were around all day and so helpful, and the convinience of having a restaurant downstairs was perfect. Its on the beach so its easy to make multiple trips a day to the water. I had room #2 which doesnt include a kitchen but it has a king size bed, fridge microwave and kettle, dishes and utensils. They leave you a welcome treat with fruit and water in the fridge. Also a bottle of rum with 2 kinds of pop. There is wifi and it works. The tv apparently has cable channels although i couldnt figure out how to get them but it has google tv so i was able to sign into Netflix and youtube etc. Ps. Room #1 and #2 have the view from my pictures. Also the room next to #2 but im just unsure what room number it had. The other rooms are partial view. One con: this doesnt have anything to do with the hotel, but something to think about. The bars nearby and in town constantly play loud music, and im talking all hours of the day and night (even around 6am). I heard constant bass in the room, mostly it was quiet and tolerable but as soon as you go on the balcony its as if its right next to you. If it wasnt the bar down the beach it was the bar on the main road, or it was the restaurant below but the owner did confront the restaurant and they were quiet after that. I really dont think there would be an area in soufriere that you cant hear this music though so might aswell enjoy this amazing hotel!

Quite a strange place. We'd apparently been moved to a larger room with a kitchen but the toilet didn't flush and the tap didn't work in the bathroom. The netting round the bed was very old and discoloured and everything was very dated. The (I presume) owner was very friendly though and introduced himself at breakfast then arranged a taxi for us to the airport. Just feels like these rooms which are above a restaurant are a bit neglected, which is a shame because the view from the balcony is stunning. A little tlc and updating would go a long way.

We loved staying at the Still Beach House in Soufriere! It was a calm, beautiful location. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The staff and owner are friendly. And the restaurant is tasty. Thank you!

Amazing view and reasonably priced! Would go again

View was top, swimmable beach. Good restaurant there for Soufriere i think, but not cheap, bed was nice...firm but soft. It was fine for our first nite in St Lucia. Arrived in dark, hard to find but locals provide direction. Restaurant was good a**osphere, food acceptable, saved us having to go to an unfamiliar town place. Walk to Soufriere main area, all services there. Perhaps the only decent breakfast in town. Overall a good choice to experience authentic Soufriere town.

The village of Sourfriere has some of the best views of the Pitons and the view from here is about as good as it gets. Beyond the view it seemed like a reasonable value. We had a large room with AC, a small TV, a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table, private bath and a safe. There is a small restaurant downstairs and from there a few steps down to the beach. There's a shower to rinse when coming off the beach but no chairs to use on the beach. Saw some broken glass so wore water shoes into the ocean. It's an easy walk into town where there's a Massy grocery, a small outdoor market by the bus station and the harbor dock. There's no sign at the entrance so had to ask around to make sure we were in the right place. (We were driving ourselves.) We had a water issue in our room, but the staff was very friendly and did everything they could to make sure our visit was comfortable.

It seemed like I was the first guest after closing for COVID and reopening. I was a little hesitant to book, but my stay turned out to be excellent. There is no front desk, but the staff from the restaurant downstairs help me check in. And everything operated smoothly for my 3 night stay. I was given the WhatsApp of Shane. If I needed assistance with arranging transport general, contacted him. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. Every evening I sat out on the porch and was mesmerized by pitons, such an excellent view. It was extremely relaxing. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. And the snorkeling in the bay near the hotel was decent too! And the WiFi was some of the best in the Caribbean.
