Marari Dreamz Homestay

I have spent 10 blissful days at Marari Dreamz where I relaxed at my wonderful private villa with my own swimming pool… Allwyn and Jence were the perfect hosts, always available to recommend excursions, practical tips etc. I was spoiled every evening with Jence ´s wonderful south Indian food for dinners and my breakfasts were equally delicious and copious! This place is full of charms, peaceful and both Allwyn and Jence add joy to this special place. I highly recommended Marari Dreamz to anybody who is looking for somewhere to stay near Marari Beach

Just returned from a family holiday, travelled as a group of ten, range of ages mid 50s to 10 years. What an amazing find, we would definitely recommend visiting this place. Excellent food, beautiful accommodation and surroundings. The most helpful friendly hosts. Really good location to go and explore. Thank you so much for a fabulous holiday

It's fair to say "dreamz" is an accurate description! A place you will remember your whole life. Allwyn & Jency have created a perfect blend of relaxation, privacy and high quality service/hospitality. If you want a 5-star hotel experience, go elsewhere. But if you want an authentic, highly professional but extremely friendly experience, stay here without hesitation. Location = excellent for the beach, backwaters, Kochi & Allepey. Food = unforgettable. Surroundings = magical.

What a wonderful place! Normally it is always important for me to be as close to the sea as possible and I wasn’t sure whether my decision to choose a location a little way away from it would be the right one. But I have to say: I didn’t miss the beach for a moment (also it is only a short walk away). Strongly recommended!

stayed at Allwyn and Jency's homestay for a week. Everything has already been said by the other reviewers - how well Jency cooks, how lovingly the place is prepared, how well Allwyn takes care of everything... but what struck me most was Allwyn's and Jency's endeavour to improve every day, to always do their best and find out what could be missing to make your stay even more special. And it's already perfect! The beautiful rooms, the wonderful nature, the friendly animals, the attentive and unobtrusive service, the warm atmosphere. You really felt like someone special and that is what stood out to me apart from all the other positive aspects. I don't just want to come back: I absolutely want to come back! This place is good for your soul ☺️

The room was big and conformable and the facilities were very good and clean. We really enjoyed the private pool. Allwyn and his wife were amazing hosts and recommended some activities for our stay in Marari. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Fabulous hideaway. Relaxing. Calm. Allwyn is an excellent host. Excellent breakfasts and dinners served on the patio outside your room. Organised enjoyable backwater canoe trip the night before. Bicycles available to use. Beach is approx 5mins walk.

Just sublime! Great room with air con, 2 fans in room, outdoor shower room and a large covered balcony with another fan where we dined and also lounged. This was really just the basics - the real joy was the warm welcome and care taken by Allwyn and the team. Jensy’s cooking is off the scale! We had some fabulous food in our 3 weeks in Tamil Nadu & Kerala but this was something else! She happily let me stand in her kitchen while she talked me through dishes which was wonderful but then we got served the most delicious, fresh food packed with spices and each seemingly better than the next. Lots of food. Hugely attentive staff but also very laid back atmosphere, surrounded by greenery with a cool pool and within 5 minutes walk of the beach. Loved having dogs around that we felt able to stroke. The whole place is such a happy home. If you can get a room just go!!

Well one week on and Marari Dreamz is still our number one memory from our trip to Kerala. Allwyn and Jency met us on our arrival welcoming us into their homestay with open arms. Our room was perfect, bright and airy beautifully furnished and decorated with wonderful attention to detail. Our outside seating are provide a welcome escape from the fierce midday heat and a peaceful haven to relax and watch the sun go down. The shared pool was cooling and offered a perfect space to relax and unwind. All these things are magical however the real 'WOW' factor are the meals Jency and her team lovingly prepared and serve at breakfast and dinner time. We have never eaten such amazing food and it was the highlight of our evening waiting for the huge tray of food to appear from behind our curtain!! We were never disappointed each meal (4 breakfasts and 4 evening meals) was spectacular!! Jency welcomes you into her kitchen and will share her knowledge and love of cooking with delight. Marari Dreamz has 5 resident dogs (all absolute dreams and so so calm) ***** with a beautiful family of cats (we are not really cat people but they were lovely) so if you love sharing your time with family pets yo are in for a real treat. If you are in two minds about booking with Allwyn and Jency our advice is DO IT you will not regret it. Allwyn will guide you on the best places to go and what to do offering sound advice to make your time in Marari the best it can be. We took the bikes out each morning enjoying time watching the fisher*** come in and selling their catch of the day, finding secluded beaches, beautiful villages and so much more. Take a stroll to the beach and watch the sunset if you are lucky you might be visited by Dolphins as well!! Thank you Allwyn, Jency and your brilliant team for making our time in Marari so special.
