バドク ヴィーン ホテル(Budock Vean Hotel)

We had a very happy two days at the hotel. The room was very clean and welcoming to the two of us and to our two dogs. The staff were friendly and in particular they were friendly to well behaved dogs, who were able to have excellent local walks in the woods that belong to the hotel. We had two evening meals and two breakfast meals. All the food was excellent. well prepared and served by very friendly staff. The rack of lamb was particularly well prepared and cooked to perfection.

Lovely staff, worked hard. Didn't appreciate noise, even on top floor, from chairs and tables being dragged across wooden floors on the ground floor, making peace unattainable, mornings, and evenings till around 10.30pm... good facilities, but guest accommodation poor. No lift, leaks in roof...say no more...enough said.

My hideaway to celebrate my 69 yrs young birthday was absolutely wonderful and blissful. I arrived early to use the leisure facilities which was no problem. The staff greeting was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was helped with my luggage to my Signature room over looking the gardens and golf course which was wonderful. Each morning a walk down through the gardens to the Halford Passage was delightful and enjoyable. The remaining period of the day was the use of the remaining leisure facilities in the Spa and also the Body massage was rewarding, felt like a new person.(sure will have this trea**ent next time again) My 3 days stay was beautiful relaxing and absolutely wonderful and I thank all the staff for their support.👍 The meals were outstanding, not 4 star but 5 stars+.👌👌😀The restaurant staff very caring friendly and supportive and even the birthday song was a surprise and fun. Thanks, I try now days not to remember my birthdays except when I’m at Budock Vean Hotel. 😀👍

The room was great with a great view of the golf course and valley, a lovely walk down to the beach, must be lovely in the summer, the staff very friendly and helpful the food was amazing. And the birthday card for my partner was a lovely touch, thank you.

A wonderfully relaxing stay. Very friendly & helpful staff made me feel very comfortable. My room was superb, comfortable bed, wonderfully furnished and very clean. The views over the grounds were spectacular. The pool was nice as we're the hot tub and sauna if a little busy at times. The evening dinner menu was good and the food was fabulous!

We spent four days at the hotel and I have to give credit to the staff. Housekeeping are superb. The staff in the bar and conservatory area work incredibly hard. The biggest asset to the hotel is Judy at the reception desk. Kind, thoughtful and professional. The food is good, breakfast is delicious. The gardens are beautiful. The pool is a little tired but I am very grateful to be able to swim and peep out a lovely Cornish garden as the sun comes up! This little hotel has much going for it. Give it a chance.

Purr fect. I never met such w o n d e r f u l pillows in my life ! Pool was magnifique! Service was out of this world Tennis courts,free golf kayaking , boat trips down the river,sauna , outside jacuzzi. Swimming pool, you can stand on the bottom. Beauty trea**ents. I could go on! The rooms are filmstar standard with beautiful views down the river and over the golf course ! The food has won international trophies, this is one of the best hotels in Cornwall, indeed in the south west! I love it.

By the time one gets to the end of the driveway one realises this may be one of those places where time has stopped. One may start to fear everything is stuck in a by gone era, especially at the sight of the Reception desk, which is one of those counters in the wall with the office behind. The walk to the rooms was even less encouraging, chipwood wallpaper, lots of old decor, and old 1940s fashioned doors. Definitely feared this was going to be 3 star experience. But then one enters one's room. Updated, good amenities, well maintained, and fairly spacious. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was reasonably modern. It was very, very acceptable. Decided to take a dip in the pool, all basic but nice. A walk around the estate is well recommended. A few country pursuits on offer at the hotel that I would have loved to avail, but unfortunately, there was no time for those nor the golf on your doorstep. Evening meals were good. Nothing exceptional, but good. Service was caring and old-fashioned. Breakfast was very good. Cooked to order and very tasty. Overall, this was a good retreat. I can imagine going back there in my 70s and enjoying even more.

Have just completed a 7 day stay at Budock Vean with a couple of friends. The welcome was sincere and the service second to none. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, whether a change of plan, a change of meal time or additional supplies of teas or cosmetics in the room. The staff are so polite and attentive to every wish to make our stay relaxing and memorable. As a result the a**osphere among guests was friendly, and of general conten**ent. The food was delicious and generous portions. The produce was fresh and local if at all possible, and we were so impressed we have booked again for later in the year.
