オーバル アーバン ホテル マルベーリャ(Hotel San Cristobal)

This is our 4th visit to this hotel 3 times when it was San Cristobal and our last visit to the refurbished Obal Urban, and we could not fault it, the staff are amazing so obliging from the front desk to the house keeping. The room was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed, breakfast excellent, it caters for everybody. The 360 Blue Sky Bar is just dreamy, we had the most memorable stay and will 100% return.

I had a lovely stay in the newly refurbished hotel Obal Urban in Marbella. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure guests comfort. I had a very bright superior room overlooking the old town, with a new bathroom, and everything pristine clean, top quality white bed linen, and great sound proofing.. Lovely refreshing drinks in the lobby each day, and an attractive minimalist design in the entrance area. It is in an amazing location beside the old town and main boulevarde for transport links to everywhere. Highly recommended for an outstanding stay in marbella, at a reasonable rate..

What a lovely hotel!! Very reasonable price also! Still looks like brand new. Welcoming reception..always helpful. Room was big, cold mini fridge...very clean. Did found 1 black long hair..probably from maid..but I have no problem with that as things happen and the room / bathroom was very clean so who cares :) location also perfect..2 little mini shops for water etc on the way to sea and loads of restaurants literally around the corner. Small shallow pool on rooftop with sunloungers and bar. We had breakfast one morning but thought 15 euros each was bit pricey...also buffee was luke warm..maybe because we went later...wouldn't say it was the best breakfast I had. Also cafe Cross the road by the park. Overall loved it!!!

We spent a very happy two nights here in March. The hotel has recently been refurbished and it really has been done well - no road noise, spacious rooms, comfy beds, wonderful roof terrace and bar, and (very important for me) an excellent breakfast with eggs cooked to order and a buffet to please everyone. We were looked after by the friendly, efficient staff, who resolved the only problem within minutes. Perfectly situated at the beginning of the old Town, but 3 minutes walk to the beach/port with all the restaurants and bars. Secure parking is available just up the road under the Mercado, and taxis were always available when we didn't want to use our car. We will definitely stay here again.

Decided to have a meal in the first floor restaurant and had the lunchtime meal of the day menu. Ordered a glass each of Prosecco and white wine. The measure for the Prosecco was minuscule - only half a flute! And a small flute at that! My husband’s white wine measure was fine. We ordered another 2 drinks and again the prosecco was half a flute. We suggest the hotel restaurant reviews their prosecco measures, as it definitely wasn’t worth 5 euros for half a glass. The meal was ok. Very smart interior nevertheless.

The Òbal Urban Hotel is a stylish hotel with sleek, modern design throughout. From the ground floor Reception area to The Alameda Restaurant up to The 360 Blue Sky Bar. The Reception area is bright and welcoming, The Alameda Restaurant is a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable space morning, daytime and evening. Great food and drinks with professional service. The 360 Blue Sky Bar is superb, wonderful panoramic views, a pool and excellent music coming out of high end, top quality speakers. The bar serves everything from coffee to cocktails, excellent. The rooms are super modern and very comfortable. Good sized bathrooms. Finally, the location is central to everything that Marbella has to offer. Highly recommended.

Only opened in December (I think) everything in the hotel is sleek and modern. The room I had was on the 3rd floor and was very large indeed. The bathroom was spacious and the rain shower really nice. One thing that struck me was the quality of the pillows. I travel quite a bit and generally find "hotel pillows" to be less than comfortable, not so here. The staff on reception were very friendly and eager to help.

Very nice staff, good location and brand new. The ventilation did not work unfortunatelly.

Fabulous centrally located hotel. Stayed here for 5 days at Easter and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were assigned a lovely high level room with balcony that faced out to the main Street and park. This was the perfect location to view all the Easter processions from the comfort of our balcony, before hitting the town when it was all over. The food here was nice and the reception staff couldn't be of more help. Parking was a bit tricky as the car park where the hotel have an assigned space is a 5 minute walk back up through the old town, but is not too far. The hotel has a back entrance which brings you immediately to the old town where lovely narrow streets with shops and restaurants wait for you. Also if the beach is what you are looking for it's less than a 5 min walk down to the promenade for a day on the sands. Santi on reception could not have been more helpful and friendly for our entire stay. He is great !! Give that guy a raise. We will be back !
