This Premier Inn is awful - probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my lifetime. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights (18/19 April) and regretted every minute. There is no dedicated parking in at this hotel (but we knew this) - the spaces shown in the photo are permanently occupied by the general public. Whilst the public car park is only a 10 minute walk away and we were able to unload our luggage by the hotel before parking, we were not made aware that on the morning of our departure The Causeway was completely given over to a food market and was closed. This meant we had to carry all our luggage by hand round to the car park. Reception was, at best casual, and our room was up 2 flights of a rickety staircase. as for the room itself - what can I say. Dead flies in the ceiling light fitting and a faulty hair drier sum up the bedroom. There was no indication that the hotel provides access to wi-fi and enquiry at reception gained the response "it's down at the moment" There is a notice on the door to the bathroom to suggest the door is kept shut to prevent steam setting off the fire alarm; needless to say the bathroom door cannot be fully closed because the door furniture does match up. Inside the toilet flush was difficult to operate and there was no plug in the the washbasin. The permanent shower is in the low level bath and is not safe for an elderly person to use. There is a sign suggesting the window blind should be lowered but the is no blind, just a curtain hung from curtain wire Shower privacy is provided by another free-hanging curtain. This "hotel" needs closing for a complete refurbishment or failing that, closing completely. We have stayed at many Premier Inns and all have been so much better than Marlow. Premier Inn -shame on you.
