What I liked: we were on the 3rd floor, and the apartment had full length windows on two sides, so the views over the city were amazing, particularly at night when the city lights up. It was very spacious and new-looking, fully equipped; king bed; smart TV that you could pair your headphones with to avoid disturbing others; TV in the bedroom as well as in the main area; the ensuite had a real door (I have a pet hate for sliding bathroom doors – so noisy!) had a large shower with hand-held shower head with good water pressure; secure car-parking underneath. Not only did it have a dining table and chairs inside, but the balcony had a large table and more chairs. Location is just great, an Italian restaurant on the doorstep, Thai to the right, café/pub bar to the left, all within 5 minutes. And just round the corner still within walking distance is Ocean Street, which has many many restaurants to choose from. Traffic noise during the day, but not a problem at night as Maroochydore does not have much night traffic. Not so good: the ensuite had no hooks to hang anything; no shower caddy so your shampoo, soap etc had to be put on the floor; the towel rails were inadequate for more than one towel. A safety rail in the shower recess would have been appreciated. Only two pillows on the bed plus cushions, extra pillows would have been better, I never see the point of cushions on the bed.
Our visit to M1 Maroochydore was fantastic and extremely accommodating by the manager. Nothing was a problem regarding access to pool towels and extra ammenities for our apartment, ie washing powder and extra dish wash powder. Our apartment was impressive with a split level aspect with high ceilings overlooking a canal and walkway. This Modern apartment had a wonderful covered huge deck with outdoor furniture. We loved having our 5pm drinks outside listening to the birds in the trees. 10 minutes to the Sunshine Plaza and dining, plus 5min to Ocean street dining. We stayed 6 nights and throughly enjoyed what Maroochydore had to offer.
We stayed at Verve for 10 nights from 27 December 2021 to early Jan 2022. Unfortunately, it rained almost every day except for 2 days. We were on the 6th floor (603) great views, large apartment with everything we needed except the Sun! This would be a great place without the rain, you can walk to Ginger Tiger Japanese, BYO, Sang's, BYO and Hathi Indian, BYO at Alexander Headland, you can catch the bus to Moom, which is BYO at Mooloabah. The only other disappointing thing about Maroochydore is that everything closes on a public holiday is you have no where to go locally! I got to the beach for a swim once!
We love staying at the Elouera Tower, the staff are always very welcoming, the apartments are so spacious & have everything you need including beautiful ocean views, the facilities are great with the sauna, spa, pool and tennis court, the beach is directly across the road for easy access. It’s a short walk to the Surf Club and down to the shops at Cotton Tree The bus stops out the front for travelling up and down the coast, the Elouera Tower is in a great location making it the perfect place to holiday. 5 Stars
Stayed at the Sebel Maroochydore for a weekend! The room was fantastic. We stayed in one of there 2 bedroom Terrace apartments! What can I say! It was big, spacious and beautiful! And the view was incredible. On check In the reception team were very lovely and welcoming. I did speak with other reception team who were equally as lovely. True asserts to the Sebel Team. We did attempt as a Platinum Accor member to get a late check out, due our flight schedule changing, however the latest time we were allowed to check out was 12pm which was disappointing. Pool area was lovely and well maintained and great temperature. The hotel is conveniently located for any facilities you would need for your stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Enjoyed it so much we have just made another booking for February.
This place is truly beautiful, situated by the water, the old world charm has to be the most well kept secret on the Sunshine Coast. The garden area has nooks to sit quietly and view the water, a real paradise. Loved it. The owners are friendly and accomodating. I have recommended it to my daughter and her friends who plan on visiting in the winter period. Thank you and God bless.
JJerryMy stay was nothing short of excellent! The property is conveniently located very close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. One of the highlights was the friendly atmosphere among guests; many spent time by the pool, chatting and sharing stories with one another. Additionally, having access to a kitchen allowed to prepare own meals, adding to the comfort of my stay.
Ms. Mary, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and always ready to assist with any requests. Her warm hospitality made my visit even more enjoyable.
I wholeheartedly recommend considering Palms at Parmer for next getaway. If given the chance, I will certainly return!
NO COOKING FACILITY! NO HEATING ELEMENT OR MICROWAVE, yet they have plates and forks and knives? They want you to eat downstairs but that food is way overpriced. Ended up going elsewhere for food. They do require a large deposit/bond prior to stay. Completely self service hotel. Automated check in and check out. The place is also too expensive. I understand it is a very new hotel but lets be honest, the view aren't anything special. It is only three stories high with the rooms being on the top level. Parking is also extremely hard to find as the complex has three different car parks, not enough signage when I was there last year. It was well cleaned and everything was in working order but I was not impressed with no way to cook or heat up food. Say popcorn for my movie, yeah nah. There is only about seven rooms approximately and that is good, very soundproof rooms too.
