チェスナット・カントリー・ロッジ(Chestnut Country Lodge)

I've been to the Chestnut Country Lodge for two nights in march 24. It was my second stay and I can highly recomend the Lodge. Thank you for your kindness, your hospitality and your good advice. I'm looking forward to staying again at the Chestnut Country Lodge.

Had a wonderful stay at Chestnut lodge. Food was good, rooms very clean and everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Not too far from Panoramaroute, owner has made a plan with all the highlights and what absolutely not to miss. Great view, nice pool. Would highly recommend this location.

Nice and friendly hotel with restaurant. Correct prices. Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff. A beautiful garden and stunning sunsets to remember. The staff indicates everyday when to get up to see them. Good place to go forca safari in the Krüger

We travelled as a family of 3 and really enjoyed our stay here. The prompt is very well maintained and great value. Chris was there to receive us and provided good advice of local places to visit. They also catered very well for my vegetarian diet . Great place to stay on the way to Kruger.

This was our first stop in Africa after flying into Johannesburg Airport from the USA for a 3 week vacation of Safari. Chestnut lodge is a beautiful, tranquil setting with a lovely sitting area and expanse view right outside our room. There is also a sweet pool area to sit in and enjoy the view or swim. The manager of Chestnut is a delightful young woman named Jacomina. She was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was very clean with a soft bed and very large comfortable and attractive bathroom. Nice windows gave us a cool breeze at night. The chef Margaret and her assistant Alucious are the best. We enjoyed delicious fresh food with local ingredients and fun and laughter with Alucious. We had our first Safari adventure at Krueger Park with a guide named Edward. He turned out to be one of my most favorite guides and they were all so very knowledgeable and excellent at locating animals, from the giant rhino to the small dung beetle. We loved and enjoyed every sighting and all our questions were answered with all the details we asked about the animals. -Ask for Edward. You won't be sorry.

A beautiful, tranquil setting with a lovely, forested mountain backdrop. We felt very welcomed by Jacomine, the manager, and found our accommodations excellent. Room rates include delicious meals served in a covered patio. Chestnut Country Lodge is near Kruger National Park and we were able to spend one full day at the park and the next day in a gorgeous area called Blyde River Canyon. They are also very close to Elephant Whisper where you can have an experience with live elephants.

The view is absolutely amazing from the lodge. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay. Food was good, not the best from our trip, but still very nice. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Overall very happy with our stay! The road to the lodge is quite an experience and can be stressful with the rented car. We were always happy we made it without getting stuck. ;-)

Our family of four stayed at Chestnut Country Lodge for two nights while we toured the Panorama Route. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had what we needed. The views are wonderful, the food was delicious, and the rooms were very comfortable. It is a great location, conveniently located to Panorama Route and Kruger.

The lodge has a beautiful and big garden that is prefect for relaxing. From the terrace you will have a scenic view over valleys with macadamia trees, which is even more beautiful in the early morning when the sun rises. The highlight for us was the staff who welcomed us warmly, helped us with any questions and even prepared very delicious vegan breakfast and dinner for us.
