A lot of cleaning and updating needed in the actual hotel. We had a 4 night stay for our anniversary. I sat my shoes by the A/C unit where I found them the next morning soaking wet. The carpet was wet from I'm assuming a leak or sweat from the A/C. We told the front desk about this immediately and I complained about the shoes (because water and nasty hotel carpet don't leave a good smell). The receptionist said, ”Oh, hopefully they weren't expensive.” They were $40 shoes I had planned to wear that trip. Our sheets and pillows were on their last legs with a tear in the comforter. I asked the front desk on day 2 for new sheets. We were told in the future I needed to let them know the night before if I wanted new ones. The day past. Came back to no new sheets. The next morning I went to the front desk about the A/C. Mentioned I needed clean new sheets still and didn't get them the day before. The day came and went. No new sheets. I didn't bother again with one night remaining. The kitchen staff get the credit here for being so sweet and helpful during breakfast. They kept everything clean and stocked, talked to you, and asked how you were. Very hospitable in that department. Front desk not so much.
