ハンプトン イン & スイーツ メンフィス - ビール ストリート(Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis at Beale Street)

When exploring Memphis (Beale st) I was elated to stay right in the heart of downtown Memphis. I was able to enjoy and stagger to my room without worry. I highly recommend.

This hotel was great except for a few minor issues. 1 elevator was broken (waiting on parts) which made getting to/from your room a lengthy wait. The room had a plug in air freshener and since I’m allergic to perfume, I got a headache, stuffy nose and sneezing. They should not allow those in hotels since many are allergic. The door to the hall stuck and was difficult to close. Finally the housekeeper walked into our room before we were checked out and while one of us was getting dressed. Otherwise great location, very safe, and very clean

The lady worked Saturday 17 at 3:00 was very rude and unprofessional. It wasn’t just us who thought this. We did get there at 3:00 o’clock and she made sure we understood in a very rude way that check in ain’t until 4:00 o’clock. It was also said I don’t understand why everyone thinks they can check in at 3:00 instead of 4:00. I’m very understanding that the room probably wasn’t ready but every other hotel in the country will tell you we can keep your luggage behind the counter and call you when it’s ready which I would of been fine with that. Not this very rude lady. I would say we came back a little after 4 and it was a whole different experience. The check in desk was very polite and wonderful dealing with. The hotel was nice and clean. I didn’t feel unsafe walking back to our room and it’s in the best location on Beale Street.

The only problem is that there was no complimentary soap, note pads, pen, etc. in the room. Overall my experience was great.

Clean beds, clean showers, great location about a 3 minute walk to Beale St and Fed Ex Forum. No valet parking but they have a parking garage about $20 per night. We went for a Grizzlies game at Fed Ex Forum, so it was a tad more crowded but wasn’t really a problem unless trying to get on the elevators. They lock the property doors after 8 pm. We felt safe and had no problem with Loud music from outside but they do provide ear plugs just in case . Breakfast is kind of limited (waffle maker, breads, eggs, sausage, oa**eal). I was pleased with my stay.

It’s ridiculous that you have to go to the lobby to pick up your own towels if needed. Also, why can’t I just call and say to please clean the room everyday. Instead, I have to fill out paper just to get my room clean.

Great property and staff. Safe parking with clean elevators. The room was great. Plenty of room and outlets. The balcony would have been enjoyed more but the weather was not great. We will come back and enjoy it when the weather is better. Very short walk to Beale Street and the Fed Ex Forum.

So me and my wife got stuck in the elevator called front desk to notify them was put on hold had to hang up and call back none of the emergency buttons work at all finally we had to call emergency services to get us off the elevator still haven’t heard from management staff isn’t trained to handle that type of situation and the overall lack of compassion is beyond belief

The front desk attendants were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner, we ate at the Blues City Cafe, yum! The room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. There is a small rotunda area to unload your car and a parking garage right there for $21/nt. The breakfast was nice with plenty of options and the attendants there were also friendly and helpful. A very nice stay!
