カーサ タヴェラ(Casa Tavera- Adults Only)

We stayed at Casa Tavera for one night when we were between houses. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities. We slept well and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hotel itself is wonderful, with nice public spaces, including a small pool. Our breakfasts were delicious and satisfying -- both the fruit plate and the amelette -- and the cookies, with chocolate and, I think, cornmeanl, are simply splendid. A special word about Emanuel, who checked us in, helped with our luggage, and prepared out breakfast. He could not have been more gracious or kind. Casa Tavera is lucky to have him on staff. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, with hard working, polite staff and large, clean rooms. The free breakfast is very generous too - not just some continental breakfast BS. It’s well located in the middle of downtown. Cons - the pool is very small and more for show and maybe for little kids to play in. None of the TV channels seemed to work. Also, Merida is a very boring, slummy town with not much going on. I couldn’t wait to leave. But that’s not the hotel’s fault, to be fair.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Merida. I appreciated all the staff and its kind attentions, as well as breakfas. I would suggest this hotel to all people for a short-medium stay in Merida aimed at visiting Cenotes and Uxmal ruines

We very much enjoyed our one night very stay at the Casa Tavera. The man who checked us in was friendly and very helpful with our questions. The room was spacious with a comfortable king bed. A delicious complimentary breakfast of our choice was served to us. We would definitely stay at Casa Tavera again.

We travel to Merida often but this was our first time staying at Casa Tavera. It is a wonderful boutique hotel! The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and very welcoming. The bed was super comfortable with high end linens. The pool is clean and very inviting. We would spend the early evenings lounging by the pool. Casa Tavera is centrally located and is an easy walk to everything that we needed. We love this hotel and Casa Tavera will be our first choice of places to stay on our future trips to Merida. Thank you to the staff and management for everything!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Casa Tavera! We travel quite a bit and have stayed at many hotels of different types, but we both thought that Casa Tavera provided some of the best service we've had anywhere. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay and that we enjoyed Mérida. We found the hotel online through total luck and didn't know what to expect. We loved the hotel itself (clean; comfortable; stylish), and the location was perfect (close to dining and shopping off of Calle 60 as well as Paseo Montejo). The breakfast was great too. :-) We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
