Very welcoming and helpful staff. The family knows what they are doing for years. The location is central and very close to plenty of shops/restaurants. The breakfast is okay, but not outstanding. Will consider staying there again for sure.

I admit this wasn't out first choice, but we decided our excursion at Metsovo shortly before the holidays and we were lucky to find accommodation at all. Hotel Asteri was much better than we expected. The location was good. There is small parking. The staff/owners were polite, the room was very clean and the breakfast was decent for the price. We found the price on holiday season very reasonable too. What you expect from a 2* hotel you more than get. That said, I know I'm a minority here, but we didn't like the decoration of the place. I don't know if it's traditional in the area or not, but this "rabote" thing with planks on the walls is an '80s thing and not something people really used in older times in the villages. Some of the heavier carpets didn't much the other colors/motives of the linen in the room either. And I think nowadays corners full of religious icons are not proper in professional spaces. This is a personal taste and not a deal breaker though. A decent place.

Authentic metsovitiko very clean and the family that run it cares immensely! Definitely worth the price. Close to the center where you’ll find everything!! Highly recommend

Near the center, with nice wiev and nice people. Very friendly lobby and large rooms, with balcony. Poor breakfast, without vegetables. You must request for it. After two nights you can smel the mold, the room umidity was high.

A bit old-fashioned with bathrooms that could use some updating but in the typical, traditional architectural style of the region. Away from the busiest parts of town and thus quiet but still within close distance to the major sights, shops, and dining options.
