キャンドルウッド スイーツ エリー IHG ホテル(Candlewood Suites Erie)

After three rooms we finally found one that was clean enough to stay for the night. Not great but clean enough. The shower in the first room was full of mold as was the second room. The bed in the second room was not completely made and smelled. The third room was ok but had some issues such as a piece of the laminate floor missing, stains on the carpet and the dishwasher was not run so consequently there were no cups for coffee or even a glass to rinse after brushing your teeth. This is highly unacceptable. needless to say we will not stay here again nor would we recommend it. The entire hotel had an air of neglect and uncleanliness about it. I am sure IHG would be livid to have this particular hotel attached to their name. Included in the picture are notices of the cleanliness that can be expected at this hotel...one posted at the entrance and the other at the check in desk. Definitely did not live up to their notices.

Found out at check in that we were bumped from the suite we reserved. Room we got was not comparable but still spacious . Bathroom shower was grimy and had mildew. Very noisy night. I am not sure what all was happening but very disruptive. The morning brought the realization that there is no breakfast here, except one waffle maker. Coffee maker in lobby was also broken. Keurig was there as replacement.

Very clean and well maintained basic accommodation with a very helpful and friendly staff. Very close to food and services and there were no issues. Perfect for just a good restful place to stay.

Room was not clean beds were not made one towel in dirty bathroom. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Nice hotel. Clean and modern. Full kitchen is a nice convenience. Check in staff very personable and kind.

The staff was excellent. Stay ended up costing $28 less than ******* stated at checkout.

I won’t stay there again. Mold in the shower. Keys stopped working on three occasions. No crafte for the coffee pot, no plates, no forks, finally, after day 4 I discoverer them in the dishwasher! Coffee in lobby not available in the morning. Thermostat in room didn’t work. Screen for the window was laying on the roof. Over all housekeeping was poor. Carpets were dirty. Entrance to the parking lot is on a one way street, depending on what direction you coming or going you have to make u-turns at a very busy intersection or figure out how to cut thru a mall parking lot to get to the hotel parking lot!!? During my stay there was some road work and there was huge signs set up at the only exit of the hotel parking lot making pulling out difficult and unsafe. (Not the hotel’s fault) but just added to my unpleasant stay. Terrible.

I booked a room with two queen beds and was given a room with only one queen bed. When telling staff about the issue, I was told all rooms were booked, that they "couldn't make a room appear out of thin air", and that no changes could be made. They only offered a $40 discount and a cot for the inconvenience. Very disappointed.

I thought the property was very worn in some places, the room had a very stale smell and our carpet looked awful. But the staff was very nice and helpful . But I doubt I will be back
