カンブリア ホテル ミネアポリス ダウンタウン(Cambria Hotel Minneapolis Downtown)

Clean, within walking distance to Target Field, Target Center, and 1st Avenue, and Orpheum. Unfortunately the furnace was not working properly and our room was cold

Floors were a little crummy and there was a liquid stain on the one of the tables in the hotel room. Bed was very comfy. It was incredibly cold though, I noticed staff needed space heaters (i don’t blame them!) and even tho I had the heat turned all the way up in my room with windows completely covered it was still drafty. The heater was also very loud turning on and off on its own (by Loud, i don’t mean the fan … it had a high pitched noise coming out of it). I stayed here by mistake thinking it was a different hotel lol Staff were very friendly. It was just an ok stay given all the little hiccups, which also included the credit card terminal not working properly.

No one clean the room. Even after we demand housekeeping services 3out of 4 times we cannot get one.

The hotel overall was great, no complaints there, rooms were clean, spacious, location was walkable to a lot of downtown attractions and access to public transportation. My only complaint was the inability to accommodate a late check-out, not even 30 minutes. I understand rooms need to be quickly turned around. However, other than myself and another couple, I recall checking out at 11am. Meaning, there was a possibility since it was Jan. 1, many others may have been staying, we also returned to pick up our luggage after 3pm, didn’t see anyone checkin-in. Quite frankly, I don’t foresee myself using a Choice/Cambria hotel for this reason again, my Platnium status with ******* didn’t mean much and I travel a lot for work and pleasure.

We walked to the Timberwolves. This was a perfect location. Parking is right behind the hotel, very easy.

Clean, quiet and private. Like the card system with the doors. Definitely plan on staying again

This hotel is in basically good shape. Very clean and has everything you need. With that said, the staff and the amenities in the lobby leave much to be desired. When I went to have a drink of wine at the bar, they did not have a register open, and the front desk guy who is tending Bar would not accept cash. The self service food area. Did not have a working kiosk in which to check out. When I asked for help at the front desk, she said she was too busy to be over there and could help me later. I was hungry at that point and could not wait so I ordered DoorDash. When I asked for additional towels to be delivered to the room it was one hour and 20 minutes.

Check in people were super nice, we were there for a baseball game so very walkable in that regard, very quiet hotel, we didn’t partake in the bar but a lot of people were, the view from our hotel was awesome, the skyline was cool, we would stay there again!
