Upon arrival, the lobby with the fireplace makes a very warm and pleasant impression. The hotel room is very neat and very clean. Room is in pleasant, bright colors. Pictures complete the good first impression. Some things make a very high-quality impression, for example the faucet in the bathroom. I missed a USB plug, which is more and more often placed in lamps or next to the bed to charge the cell phone. The only, but big point of criticism was the breakfast. I looked for coffee cups in vain. I had to ask the staff twice until it was noticed that the disposable cups were used up. Coffee very good. The selection is not very large, comparably much less than in comparable hotels. The orange juice was very negative, probably a cheap product, also with an aftertaste. After it is now common, there are no hot, instead only "warm" scrambled eggs. Only these were not even warm, in the spectrum between warm and cold rather cold to be counted and therefore hardly to be enjoyed. Since the breakfast can not be rated separately, I have to think about what my rating should be. Because certainly hotel guests without breakfast are well accommodated here.

At check in and Check out, the clerk was very hospitable, but the staff in the afternoon and evening were very rude! Mold around the tub and cleaning rag left on the window seal.

The guy at the desk was very friendly but as soon as I wheeled my mom in she started having breathing problems because of whatever small was in the lobby. I rushed her to our room and went down to get a bag. By the time I got back a couple mins later she asked to leave because the smell in the room was so bad. It was affecting her breathing. $150 for 5 mins is not cool

The staff was amazing!! There is not one employee that we interacted with that was not kind, helpful, and ready to make sure our stay was wonderful. The hotel itself was physically a little dated, but the customer service made that factor almost irrelevant. Great location if trying to be near the University of South Alabama.

The staff I encountered were professional, friendly and resourceful. The decor and hotel was very clean and a beautiful festive look. I would definitely return to this location if I ever was back in your city.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions through the years and can certainly say the hotel is in need of refreshing. In addition to the hotel looking a bit "tirted" the fitted bedsheet kept slipping off the mattress during the night. Regardless of my efforts, they would not stay on the bed.

Our party of 5 checked in on Friday evening November 10, 2023. The two greeters, one was the night manager, were absolutely wonderful. They were very gracious and offered explanation of all amenities. Terrific personalities and excellent customer service. They gave me their names, but I left the card in the room. Please extend my review to the appropriate management for their recognition.

It was very clean the staff was very friendly went out of there way to acknowledge you when enter the building and leaving the building this was the best hotel I can honestly say that I have stayed at I will diffenly stay here again and will let my family and friends who go to Alabama to stay at this hotel I give it 100
