カハマ ホテル モンバサ(Kahama Hotel Mombasa)

Nice place. Second time there. It is not really a Beach Hotel. The we arrived there was only lukewarm water. The next day, only cold water.

We booked two nights in a twin room. Arriving at 10pm the bar and restaurant were closed, the shower in our room didn´t work but the receptionist moved us and we were happy with the room. The hotel is furnished with lovely African artefacts, has a small shop and a pool area that is the hub of the hotel. Breakfast was more than adequate, the staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The Sports bar food is unexciting and boring. On our last morning we had to leave early on safari we were assured breakfast would be served and we didn´t need the packed one. Needless to say it wasn´t ready and we only just managed to grab a coffee,so book a packed breakfast if you´re leaving before the main restaurant is open. All in all this a value for money reasonably priced hotel.

Most disappointed on my second stay here. Booked because last time (6 months ago) was a great place to stay plus excellent service and reataurant. Sadly, lacks atmosphere, menu totally scaled back, service when had, good, but invariably hard to get. Place definitely is needing attention as seems management are letting what attracted me to this place, erode fast. Doubt i shall return here again! Real shame!

The staff were very friendly, jolly and efficient. Service was very good. However, the room(s) need some sprucing up, the bedsheets were old and overused, needing to be replaced like yesterday. The bed was clean but the mattress had seen better days and there was water leaking from the ceiling when the shower was opened.

It is a great peaceful and beautiful place Very good and clean rooms All staff there are very helpful and professional I had a great amazing time there in a deluxe room . Mattress was good but not excellent but the housekeepers were very helpful to take care of any complain Breakfast was good with many food options but all these options were not the best I recommend highly this hotel in spite my little negative things about it

Big clean rooms, very nice music selection at the sports bar, clean swimming pool, reasonably priced and beautiful warm couches at the reception. We enjoyed our stay. The dinner can do with a little more variety. Too much rice in the dinner menu

I was lucky to get this hotel last minute at a discount. I really didn't expect much from the discounted price I was given, but a pleasant surprise awaited me. Staff was friendly. The African decor is on point. The hotel was clean and the room huge, well-lit and airy. Linen was a little dated, though. The room had a large glass window above the door, and this let in quite a bit of light from the corridor at night, which could make light sleepers uncomfortable. I improvised to block out the light. Management could consider installing a curtain for this window to darken the rooms at night. There is a clean, good-sized pool which I thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was sumptuous with a wide variety of options. I requested extended check-out till 1.00pm but the hotel was unable to offer, which was disappointing since the occupancy rates were apparently low. Overall, it was good value for money.

The property is located nesr the beach.

The hotel was within walking distance to the beautiful Bamburi Beach. The rooms were clean and AC worked wonderfully. Mosquito net was also provided. Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel made the trip memorable. Wifi was not the most stable but the staff did troubleshoot quickly and helped out. Breakfast had lots of variety yet quality can be improved.
