ラ カノーニカ ディ サン ミケーレ(La Canonica di San Michele)

Words can not describe how we felt when we arrived at the hotel, it felt like paradise on earth. Roberto and Stephanie are the most fabulous hosts who make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. Everywhere on the walls is the most fantastic artwork that the couple have collected and if you are into music Roberto has a fine collection of records. We asked for a traditional Tuscan evening meal and they didn't disappoint us. Breakfast was out on the patio with a vast choose of items, from yogurts, pastry's and omelettes. The B&B has a beautiful little church attached to the house that offers weddings and baptisms. In fact I would say it's the perfect place to get married. We would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed at this nice place on our way to Sicily. We needed a break so we relaxed here for two days - with a morning trip to Siena. The owners are so nice, the food was good and the pool is a nice place to hang out. While we where eating we could see wild boars roaming the grounds, which was a nice touch.

Homey B&B in converted medieval village church rectory. We enjoyed breakfast sitting outside looking out at the view. Beautiful tranquil grounds with lots of spaces - pool, couches, bar... We ate one dinner on-site; limited menu, but food was good. Large room wiht small private bathroom. Bed was ok, pillows were good, lots of chintz. No A/C, but thick walls insulated well and it was cool at night, so we opened the windows and enjoyed the fresh air (and window screens to keep bugs out!) Stefania and Roberto took very good care of us!

Quaint buildings that blend beautifully with the landscape. Location and scenery is stunning. The access road is a bit challenging but very manageable.

Location magica. Ideale per rilassarsi nel giardino con piscina immersa nel verde delle colline di Monteriggioni, situata perfettamente per organizzare visite a Siena, San Gimignano, San Galgano e la parte nord della Val d'Orcia. Cucina casalinga tipica toscana ottima che si abbina al clima famigliare che si crea. Gestori molto cordiali, disponibili e preparatissimi sulla storia della Toscana e di Siena su tutto. Camere ampie, con ottima pulizia. Colazione ottima e abbondante sia dolce che salata. Consigliatissima.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Toskana und bereuen keine Sekunde diese Unterkunft gebucht zu haben. Ein kleines Paradies inmitten der toskanischen Landschaft. Einen herzlichen Empfang hat uns Stefania bereitet und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Unser Zimmer war sehr heimelig eingerichtet, mit einem Himmelbett und sehr warmherziger Dekoration, einfach romantisch. Im Zimmer hatten wir eine Kaffeemaschine und Teekocher, ebenso wurde uns Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt. Für die Poolbenutzung wurden uns Badetücher ausgehändigt. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war direkt auf den Garten und den Pool, was nochmals ein sehr schönes Bild darstellte. Essen konnten wir in der Unterkunft auch, jeden Morgen wurde uns die Speisekarte ausgehändigt und wir konnten aus feinen italienischen Gerichten auswählen, Stefania hat uns auch Spezialitäten vorgeschlagen, welche nicht auf der Karte standen. Ein sehr grosses Dankeschön an Roberto, welcher uns das feine Essen zubereitet hat. Die Desserts wurden von Stefania vorbereitet und waren ebenso ein Genuss. Letizia war auch unsere Fee. Sie hat jeden Tag unsere Zimmer frisch gemacht und beim Frühstück und Abendessen mitgeholfen. Zum Frühstück konnten wir immer auswählen aus verschiedenen Gerichten wie zum Beispiel Omelette, Joghurt, frische Früchte, Kaffee, Tee, etc. Es wurde uns frisch an den Tisch serviert.  Schöne toskanische Dörfer/Städte können sehr gut erreicht werden, Florenz in ca. 1 Stunde, Monteriggioni in ca. 10 Minuten, San Gimignano in ca. 40 Minuten und das Mittelmeer in ca. 1.5 Stunden. Auf jeden Fall sollte man mit dem Auto anreisen, dann ist man sehr flexibel. Wenn man Hilfe oder Tipps benötigte konnte man sich immer an Stefania, Letizia oder Roberto wenden.  Wir möchten uns von Herzen bei Stefania, Letizia und Roberto für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt bedanken. Wir wurden sehr herzlich betreut und dadurch fühlten wir uns wie Teil der «Familie». Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!!! 💋💋💋👍

Si para puntuar este agroturismo se tuviera sólo en cuenta la ubicación (cerca de Siena, en mitad de la Toscana y con una calma y tranquilidad increíbles, rodeados de bosque), el alojamiento (limpio, agradable, tranquilo, decorado con mucho gusto, etc) y los servicios (piscina, desayunos increíbles, abundantes y completos, las comidas y cenas son de restaurante de primer nivel), ya bastaría para puntuar con 5 estrellas. Pero es que Stefania, Roberto y Letizia son de los anfitriones de hotel/casa rural más atentos y agradables que me he encontrado. Atentos, simpáticos, ofreciéndose a ayudarnos en todo, sugiriendo rutas por la Toscana, aconsejándonos y, en definitiva, haciendo la estancia perfecta. Recomendable sin duda si estás por la Toscana.
