レ マンドリエ ディ リパルタ(Le Mandrie di Ripalta)

We are just finishing a 3 day stay at Le Mandrie di Ripalta. This is not a 4 star accommodation! 1. The breakfast buffet is not a buffet. One staff member places what you wish to eat on your plate. Choices are limited. Favorite choices are gone long before the time for breakfast is finished. 2. Dinner choices are limited, the quality of food is average at best and prices are high. 3. A vehicle is absolutely essential. The villa where we stayed was a 7 - 10 minute walk to the restaurant, with a steep climb and steep downhill grade going both ways. Nothing is available for purchase (water, wine, other necessities) other than at dinner time. Management should at least have a golf cart to ferry people from their villa to the restaurant. 4. The pool is mediocre at best. We are used to crystal clear pools. This pool is only 1.5 meters in depth and you cannot see the bottom. We would not swim in the pool, even though the weather was very warm. 5. The grounds are generally unkept - shrubbery is overgrown. 6. Bugs! Flies, mosquitoes and various other insects (flying and crawling) drive you crazy. There are no repellents available. 7. Accommodations are bare necessity! In the advertising, we were given to understand there was a kitchen and bedroom on the main floor and a bedroom on the second floor. On the main floor, there is a large, basically empty space with 2 chairs, a small couch and a good sized bedroom - no water, no stove, no running water, no bathroom facilities. Occupants of the main floor must climb a steep staircase to use bathroom facilities. The second floor has the bathroom and a good sized bedroom. The bed is comfortable. There is little to no ventilation in the bathroom - do not expect towels to dry overnight. 8. Staff is cordial and generally helpful, given what they have to work with. This is at best a 3 star accommodation. We would not stay here again.

We had a fantastic week at the Le Mandrie Di Ripalta. The super friendly staff, traditional room with stone walls and wood beam ceiling, exquisite food and views of vineyards and olive trees made our stay unforgettable.

My mum and I did a girls trip here and we LOVED our stay! Just the kind of quite wind-down that we needed after the hustle and bustle of Venice and Florence. This hotel is GORGEOUS!! The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice. We both can't wait to be back!! Thank you for the beautiful stay!

The stay was very enjoyable. Nice breakfast and good restaurant for dinner. Great typical Tuscany views from restaurant terrace. Rooms were comfortable with nice garden area ad well. AC is modern and works well. I like to point out in particular the friendly staff and very helpful assistance of the receptionist Camilla. Montespertoli is a ln idyllic small town with nice restaurants and few tourists. The property lies about 5km away.

I spent a few days at Le Mandrie with my girlfriend. We worked remotely while enjoying the stunning view and the warm hospitality. We really enjoyed our staying! In addition, the breakfast is great and the staff is extremely kind and professional. Thank you Camilla! P.S. there is plenty of fireflies at night :)

Lovely experience, it is set in a beautiful area within Tuscany. We had breakfast and dinner and food was amazing. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommended and we will definately return. The area is quiet and definately relaxing.

Siamo stati alle Mandrie di Ripalta per cena, una serata piacevolissima in un locale molto curato e soprattutto con un servizio eccellente! I ragazzi che ci hanno seguito e coccolato per tutta la cena erano infatti estremamente gentili, simpatici e competenti su tutto ciò che ci hanno servito. Hanno fatto la differenza. Cibo di ottima qualità e cucinato con sapienza, speciale il pollo fritto alla fiorentina, non fatevelo scappare! Così come anche i dolci, rigorosamente fatti in casa, buonissimi!

Belle propriété parmi les splendides collines toscanes Les logements sont situées dans deux bâtiments (distance: 2 min en voiture, env 10 minutes à pied sur un très joli chemin, mais à prévoir une descende et une montée entre les deux! ) Le premier bâtiment est à côte de reception, restaurant, piscine. J'ai séjourné dans le 2eme bâtiment, éloigné et plus calme. Notre chambre, la junior suite avait deux pieces équipées d'un un lit double + lit simple + sofa convertible. Matelas super (mi-fermes) J'ai bcp apprécié le deco et la vue depuis notre terrasse. Bémol: La cabine de douche était plutôt inconfortable car avait seulement un jet d'eau fisse en haut et sans un cordon flexible, la base. Propreté parfaite. Petit déjeuner très bon et varie (mais je n'ai pas gouté leur jus de fruit) Personnel très gentil, attentif et aux petits soins. Hélas, je n'ai pas essayé leur piscine, peut-être une prochaine fois!
