ホテル コテージ(Cottage Carrasco)

満足した滞在。

We have stayed at the Cottage Carrasco every year at the end of our Uruguayan Holiday. It is clean with comfortable beds, nicely appointed rooms, great facilities, and is located just 20 minutes from the airport with beautiful seaside views.

This hotel was great. From when the staff greets you to when you check out. It is in between the airport and downtown Montevideo. The hotel is near the Sofitel ******. There are lots of restaurants and shops around it. The area is not as touristy as downtown or Old City so there is not much to do within walking distance, but you can get there in an Uber in 30 minutes. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was great. I would stay here again.

Great folks, not enough people understood English, but we made it through. There could be a bit more variety in the menu. The rooms and beds were very clean and well attended. It was a great stay and I would book again.

I thought the location was good, service is nice however i feel that charges for amenities/service (laundry) should be in Uruguayan dollars than in USD. I know it is a trend in Montevideo, but more will appreciate this.

Good value, so-so breakfast, and our room key had continuing problems.

The hotel is quite recommendable for the conditions in Uruguay. The rooms are clean and everything works. Likewise, the breakfast is really good. What is not good, however, are on the one hand the rooms that are oriented to the Rambla Republica De Mexico. The single glazed windows give you the feeling of sleeping in the middle of a busy street. Another criticism: I had ordered a shuttle to the airport at 8:30 am. I was downstairs five minutes before the time. According to the lady at the front desk, the car - which was from the hotel - was supposed to be on time, it wasn't. First I was told to wait five minutes. After a delay of 15 minutes then supposedly another three minutes and then several times "in one minute he is there". In the end, he was 30 minutes late. This is especially critical when you have to wait at the time of the morning departure wave at the airport customs an hour…

The staff was warm and welcoming and was able to communicate with us even though our Spanish is extremely limited. The facilities were great even though we didn't stay long enough to really take advantage of them. The view of the water was fabulous. The bed was comfortable and inviting after a long day of traveling. I look forward to staying at the Hotel Cottage Carrasco again on future trips.
