Excellent location. The bus stop for buses to Burton on the water, stow on the wold and Stratford upon Avon is just one-minute walk. They are the only hotel which I stay in the UK provides slippers! And I love their heated towel racks! Room for improvement: One lady taking breakfast order is not friendly or helpful. And the food they served was a bit salty for me. But taste was personal. My partner says he likes their English breakfast.

We loved our stay, the place was clean and the housekeeping was splendid. The staff were warm and welcoming too. Loved our stay! The breakfast was also top notch. We had eggs Ben and English breakfast, loved it thet it came with a black pudding

Very British style, 房間佈置很用心，還有一台收音機📻！小院可以露天晚餐。早餐很豐富，美味！check in 服務也很周到，可以寄存行李。幾分鐘的步行到bus station 和火車站。附近可以徒步，公園，鄉村小路都讓人心曠神怡！總之，十分推薦！

Lovely character building. We stayed in room 308 which was very large with ample room for our Golden Retriever. Staff were very friendly and dogs are made very welcome. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant but it was no hardship eating in the lovely cosy snug bar with its open fire which was on all day. We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch and meals on three nights with no complaints. Lovely circular walk via Batsford Arboretum (welly’s needed due to amount of rain this year) Handy stream by the recreation ground which is near the end of the walk ideal for muddy paws, although there is a hose in the hotel courtyard for hosing off muddy dogs and shoes. 🙂 Would definitely return.

Fantastic Stable Room, airy, bigger than average with bathroom/wetroom all spotless, friendly approachable staff & lovely breakfast. Luckily there were 2 parking spots outside the hotel when we arrived, probably wouldnt have been that happy if we couldnt have parked outside but it is advertised as self park so didnt really know what to expect.

Room was far to hot, had to sleep with windows open, due to room at front of hotel, very noisy at 6am, not great when looking for a relaxing stay

Beautiful, historic, wonderful stay. Everyone at the hotel was so nice and friendly. Fantastic breakfast and dinner in front of the fire place at the Snug Bar.

A beautiful character hotel within the heart of Cotswolds. Brilliant attentive staff and excellent food. Nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone. They made a special occasion more special.

Beautiful property, full of history and wonder. Menu was excellent, much better than most hotels. Cheese souflé was incredible. Our room was stunning. Loved it

The property has amazing character and history. The staff were all lovely and happy to give tips on places to go and transport links if needed. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.
