La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morgantown

Upon check in, we were assigned a room that was already occupied. Mistake was corrected. Comfortable rooms, although quite noisy from hallway and other rooms.

One night stay with my young daughter and myself. Newer hotel. Check in via email was easy and convenient. Front desk friendly. Room very clean and beds comfortable. Felt very safe.

Location is good. Room smelt musty but was clean. The indoor pool deck is very dangerous and slippery, was very concerned with our kids swimming. Saw someone take a big fall. Breakfast was good and clean. I'd stay again, preferably without a musty smelling room and i wouldnt use the pool.

The hotel was easy to get to. There is an abundance of shopping surrounding the hotel, as well as the surrounding area. Sportsman’s warehouse is practically in the same parking lot. The hotel staff were great, friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, it was clean and comfortable. My only complaints are of the swimming pool and parking lot. The swimming pool was dangerous, the floor surrounding the pool is not slip resistant. My girlfriend, son and myself were almost injured as soon as we walked in. Obviously the floor around the pool was wet, but it almost felt like you were walking on an oil covered floor, with a (maybe) 3ft wide anti slip padding around the edge of the pool. The only other safeguard was a wet floor sign. Getting out of the pool was just as hazardous, considering the towels are on the other side of the room with no slip resistant padding or flooring. My only other complaint is the giant pot hole in the parking lot. If you have a truck, or anything relatively higher than most cars you’ll be fine. However my car bottomed out on the small piece of asphalt sticking up just before the covered port. It was very easy to miss, as I was more concerned with the vehicles and pedestrians in the parking lot. Luckily, as far as I can tell, my vehicle was not damaged. Overall if we find ourselves in the area again, we will absolutely consider staying here again.

This was a vety nice, clean place to stay just off 79 and a short drive to WVU and dining. We would stay here again.

Checkin was fine. Once we got to the room, we could tell it had not been properly cleaned. As soon as you walk in it smelled like dirty feet. There was urine around the bottom of the toilet seat and food left in the refrigerator. Went to the pool and it was so slippery that people were falling all over. The pool itself was Very cold as if not heated at all. At night there was the sound of slamming doors from 2am-3am. The continental breakfast was fine, but all of the tables were dirty. We did not receive housekeeping services at all during our stay and so the tiny trash cans were overflowing. They did provide us with extra towels only after we provided them with our dirty towels. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone staying more than one night as the beds and pillows were uncomfortable.

We were attending a game at WVU. Hotel is very convenient to downtown with being caught up in all the mess.

The staff was excellent. The rooms were clean spacious. Unfortunately, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable

The room itself seemed pretty clean. But the sheets on the beds were worn thin and falling apart. They were either left there a very long time and never changed, or used until they were falling apart. After staying in a hotel I always ***** the bed myself before leaving. The mattress cover under the sheet had a HUGE pee stein on it from past guests. And under that the mattress had the same pee stein. Super nasty
