This was my first stay at Zolotoe Kol'tso (October, 2021). I was very attached to another Moscow hotel, where I have stayed a number of times, but now it's going to be a very tough choice. As noted in the title of this review, I found this hotel very comfortable and convenient. The walk to the Metro is at most 10 minutes. There are all sorts of useful shops nearby -- food, *****tores, delis, a cell phone place (where I bought a new charger), even a place to get your PCR test for air travel. As others have noted, the breakfast is awesome, and I found the harp music incredibly calming and, often, really beautiful. The room had everything I need. I am not Leona Helmsley, so perhaps my needs are more modest than some. It was impressive to me that they offer you a choice of what softness of pillows you sleep on. The bed was flawless. The view was great. Everything was spotless. The wake up call is kind of weird: the TV turns on at the set time, instead of a phone call. Worked for me, though. Where this hotel really hit a home run was in service, however. It was almost unbelievably good. I am especially referring to the concierges. They both, Evgenii and Liudmila, went to great lengths to help me out, and I couldn't be more grateful. For just one example, when I was feeling unwell, Evgenii took a genuinely personal interest in my welfare, helped me find the best possible medical care, and followed up to make sure everything went well. When I expressed an interest in the world of arts and dance, Liudmila not only found me events going on during my stay, she even followed up after I had left Russia to provide me with valuable details for my next visit. It would take too long to go into everything. It would be callous of me, however, to not thank them, or to act as if their level of care and concern is something to be taken for granted. It isn't. Thank you!

Moscow (and Russia in general) is such an amazing place. I recommend everyone to visit. I've probably been around a dozen times now and each and every time I experience something different. My stay at The Golden Ring Hotel was comfortable but it could definitely do with a refurb. I've stayed at a number of 5* Hotels around Europe and would genuinely class this as a solid 4. The bed, views, and housekeeping are all 5* but everything else needs slight improvement. It was a nice surprise to receive a bottle of wine and a fruit bowl for my birthday. Overall my stay was comfortable, and this hotel will always have a special place in my heart and memory because of what kind of trip this was, but it was all let down a little, by the miserable receptionist who called my room demanding I leave or pay for an extra half-day. There was a slight mix-up on my booking as I thought I had booked this for an additional night, still I really didn't like the tone of voice of the receptionist. Everyone else at tghe hotel was really polite and friendly, but I observed how blunt and rude she was not just with me, but with some of the other guests as we vacated our room and waited in the reception. This put a damper on my stay and I'm not sure if I would stay here again because of this. I like to feel genuinely welcome by my hosts, and having also stayed at the Hotel National, and The Radisson Hotel in Moscow previously, I think I would pick either of those over this.

Hugely disappointing stay. I am astonished that this is a five star hotel. It is chronically dated. Yes there are great views but I'm more interested in the quality of the rooms and service, both sadly lacking. There are many lovely luxury hotels in Moscow. This is not one of them.

Полное разочарование! Ужасный отель! Хамское отношение к гостям со стойки ресепшена, ремонт совдеповских времен, ванна не затыкается, в зимний период духота в номере дышать нечем! Цена абсолютно не соответствует качеству. Расстройство🥲 порадовали только портье👏 не рекомендую! Туда не вернусь даже за бесплатно

Выбрали этот отель скорее из любопытства, так как в начале года были в отеле напротив и хотелось сравнить. Ценовая категория примерно одинаковая. Бронировали через сайт отеля, кстати, очень приятный сайт, интуитивно понятный, ничего лишнего и информация наглядная. За раннее бронирование скидка 15%. Обязательно проверьте раздел Спецпредложения перед бронированием. Мы выбрали номер Стандарт с панорамным видом на МИД и реку. Приехали вечером, около 9, так как мы зарегистрировались заранее онлайн, то при заселении только показали паспорта для проверки и сразу получили ключ-карту. Карта нужна не только для доступа в номер, но и в лифте. Номер был на 16 этаже. Первым делом в номере проверили вид и, конечно, это было не то, на что мы рассчитывали при бронировании. Учитывая, что устали, да и приезжали по работе, так что в номере особо сидеть не приходилось, решили не идти и не менять номер. Если будете бронировать этот отель, то выбирайте вид на сити. Мы брали вид на сити в отеле напротив и Золотое кольцо выбирали именно с расчетом на то, что из него вид в сторону центра должен быть лучше, ошиблись. Сам номер просторный, кровать большая и удобная, есть где разместить вещи. Не совсем понятно расположение зеркала у окна, логичнее его было бы разместить ближе к двери. Есть кофейный набор, чайник, конечно, подустваший. В ванной ванна, есть весы, стульчик и нескользящий коврик, полотенец достаточно, также набор всего необходимого. Уборка хорошая, все как надо, здесь без вопросов. Воду, чай, кофе пополняли исправно. Завтраки не брали, вокруг очень много мест, куда можно сходить. Но отметили, что цены на заказ еды в номер вполне приемлемые. Какого-то очень вежливого обращения нет, при заселении девушка на ресепшн даже не сказала, что в лифте нужно использовать карту. Только на входе всегда здороваются, это приятно. Как итог, в целом, отель хороший, именно такое впечатление и производит, вроде и не совсем плохо, но и сверх чего-то нет. После поездки дали промокод на следующую, возможно, попробуем отель снова летом.

Я в восторге от этого отеля! Снимали с женихом номер на две ночи - полулюкс. Прекрасные две комнаты, просторная спальня, хорошая мебель. Всё чисто, аккуратно. Шикарный вид на Москва-Сити. Персонал прислушался к просьбе дать номер на этаже повыше. Очень понравились завтраки - хороший выбор блюд + приятная живая музыка (игра на арфе). С удовольствием бы приехала сюда ещё на выходные! Отель очень советую и по Свадебному предложению отличный вариант. Поздний выезд был огромным плюсом после дня свадьбы.
