A beautiful place to rest and relax on the lush green mountain. We had a gorgeous room with en-suite spa bath - heaven. The room was big and airy and beautifully furnished. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden- a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast. This place was more like a home than a B & B- there was plenty of space for couples to sit and relax together without feeling overheard, plus a lovely reading room ( with plenty of books). There was a kitchenette with loads of tea and real coffee options if the supplies in your room were not enough! The included continental breakfast was plentiful, fresh and delicious. We had a cooked breakfast brought to our room one day for a treat ( at an additional cost) this was perfect- left outside with a discreet knock on the door. The hosts were so lovely, very welcoming and friendly, but they left us to ourselves once we were checked in. This place was a real piece of heaven- I’d love to go back.

My husband and I originally stayed at Mountain Sanctuary B&B in January 2023 and had such a wonderful time that we said we'd return with our kids and their partners. Well we did just that last weekend (March 2024). We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts, Helen & Peter (and Lucy), are the loveliest people. They’re extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area and local restaurants. The position of the property is great. We walked to shops and cafes as well as the Palm Grove Rainforest Circuit - which is easily completed before breakfast. The attention to detail in all of our suites was amazing, we didn’t want for anything. The amenities were spot on and so very clean. It was also great to see items throughout the property that were made/provided by local businesses - Art, Pottery, Glassware, Water, Biscuits, etc. Our family was so very impressed with the B&B - they loved that there was space to themselves to have a spa and quiet time, as well as plenty of space for us all to spend time together to eat, play cards and chess. They especially loved to begin the day together at the wonderful breakfast. It's a fabulous place to stay, you will not be disappointed.

Our first time staying in an B&B and loved it! From the moment we arrive well felt welcome. The B&B had everything that anyone would need to make it like home. Helen went over and beyond helping my daughter. The continental breakfast was perfect but Peter made the best scrambled eggs. Just a short walk 10 minutes to all the cafes and specially shops. Stunning gardens, gorgeous rooms and peace and quiet. Helen and Peter are divine hosts- very welcoming and provide a beautiful home away from home for weary travelers like ourselves. We can highly recommend this accommodation to couples and singles for a lovely break away. Breakfast is generous and fresh.

Fantastic hosts, friendly and accommodating - the accommodation is clean, and comfortable. Easy to get to and close to all amenities including Gallery Walk and local shops and restaurants. Recommend a stay there.

Went for 3 days just to myself for rest and relaxation. What a perfect place to stay for this! Although I didn’t have breakfast there, as I preferred to sleep in so bought my own cereal and yoghurt, the owners were very obliging and offered to serve it for me later if I wanted. Loved that they had free Netflix, so no problem finding something to watch and chill out to. Also loved the huge bath tub with jets - so relaxing!!! Bath robes provided to wear after. Walking distance (5-10mins depending how fast you walk) to Gallery Walk and so many cafes and shops to spend time in. Very quiet location and beautiful setting with well tended gardens. Masseur came to a private room at Mountain Sanctuary for my massage which was really convenient.

Mountain Sanctuary B&B is very warm and welcoming purpose built establishment located only a short stroll to gallery walk yet far enough for that tranquil Tamborine experience. As a bonus, palm grove national park is at the end of the street which is a hidden gem and not given enough marketing on the beauty of this hiking trail. Beds / pillows and linen all top notch and were very comfortable crisp and clean. The rainforest view from our sanctuary room was perfect. We even enjoyed the luxury of a quick hot spa bath after a hike and before we ventured to the mountain distillery for a little tipple ( free taste voucher supplied- thank you ) . Also worth a mention is the fine dining restaurant - again walking distance - Pippin Took which was recommended. Would definitely recommend this B&B for its comfort, convenience, breakfast and genuine good old hospitality. My only other recommendation is to book direct with them. We will return.

Helen was very welcoming. Comfortable, quiet room with everything laid on. The room originally booked was not available, so Peter very kindly provided an excellent cooked breakfast. Easy parking, and a short distance from walking tracks.

Fantastic venue, with lovely rooms, great breakfast and excellent facilities, although I'm not a big fan of spa tubs but there is a big one in the room if you like them 😏😏 Helen and Peter go out of their way to help you with everything and provide a wonderful venue. Close to some nice jungle walks and not far from the shops and restaurants. Would stay here again. 👍

This B&B is a treasure cove with all the necessities for a Couple’s getaway including - Free continental breakfast - Big 2 person bath - Robes - Cooking facilities on the property - Great hosts - Great location (near shops, National park with walking track and very quiet) It is value for money and even the hot breakfast for a small fee delivered to your room is good value and cooked to perfection!!

The room was lovely and spacious with a great balcony. Helen and Peter were lovely and hospitable and cooked a great breakfast. Comfiest bed, amazing spa bath, great location!! Walking distance to shops and gallery walk.

This place is fabulous - Helen and Peter are great hosts. The room was very comfortable and well appointed - comfy bed, massive bathroom, undercover balcony with seating - all the comforts of home plus more. The included continental breakfast was comprehensive and a great way to start the day. Also included are undercover parking for the car and great gardens.

Helen and Peter were amazing. They let us check in early as we had arrived earlier than expected. We had both breakfast options during our stay and they were honestly the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Lots of options to choose from. And the music playlist they had playing during breakfast was so lovely. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing, very soft. The private bathroom was very spacious. The spa bath was superb. I am 5 foot 8 and was able to stretch out completely with room to spare. Shower pressure was strong, and the shower itself was huge. The private balcony was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was completely sound proof which was great. They had undercover parking and the grounds themselves were flat and everything was easily accessible. The property and surrounding areas were breathtaking. Had everything I could want and more and will definitely be back if I’m ever in QLD again.

We stayed here in January and I thought, this is more like a resort than a BnB. After staying at a resort in the Blue Mountains last week I must reassess ... Mountain Sanctuary is like Paradise. Everything is laid on, yes it's a sanctuary, but it feels like Heaven on Earth.
