コンフォート スイーツ マウント バーノン(Comfort Suites Mount Vernon)

Room was clean and quiet. Bathroom water temp could have been hotter. Pressure was amazing in the shower. Renovations in progress but didn’t affect our stay. Was disappointed there was no waffle machine for breakfast. My daughter had her heart set on a waffle. I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t have one. Their Choice Hotel ad even advertises their waffles. Disappointing.

Very nice place. Our only frustration was that there seemed to be a "governor" connected to the volume on the TV and so it was difficult to hear the movie we were watching.

This hotel just didn’t feel right. When we walked in the door, the receptionist who was super nice had the TV really loud. In the room, there appeared to be a lot of water damage in the bathroom, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and it felt dirty. The bed was hard, it was slanted at an angle towards the headboard and the sheets had lint and hair on them. At 4am there were a couple people talking in the hallway and it sounded like they were standing next to our bed. When they started their car in the parking lot, we could hear that very clearly too. We checked out before breakfast was served so no opinion on that.

We drove 6 hours and got to the hotel arpund 10pm. We checked in no problem. Got in pajammas and all comfy for a family of 6. The smoke alarm started chiming (needed new battery). Not wanting to up and move I called the front desk. They came right down with a battery, however they couldn't reach the alarm near the ceiling. My husband then scaled the couch to get it down. The front desk swapped the battery then had my husband press the button to "reset it" and scale the couch again. Not long after lying back down it chimed again (battery). Then we never heard it again. The place was clean and breakfast was good outside of hard biscuits.

The hotel appears to be under some sort of construction. They were using the stairway at one end of the hotel as a storage facility for building materials. The pool and hot tub are showing many signs of dilapidation and over all there was a bad odor in the pool area. The pool area bathroom doors are showing serious signs of falling apart. Our room was showing signs of needing some attention and repairs. The towel rack in the bathroom was coming off the wall. The toilet paper holder was broken, the shower curtain rod was coming unscrewed from the wall about to fall off. There were several areas of paint and dry wall etc coming off the wall in the bathroom. The faucet in the bathroom dripped nonstop. All lampshades in the room were damaged in some form. The desk chair was falling apart. The alarm clock top was so gross that no one would ever want to touch it. The bathroom door in our room was worn through across the bottom and there was no vent fan in the bathroom. The door was swollen due to all the moisture and rusty around the frame. The bathroom counter was missing quite a bit of sealant between the edge of the top and wall. The toilet was very slow to flush and ended up clogging after a couple of uses. Basically, the entire hotel was suffering from a severe lack of maintenance.

Our room was clean but in much need of being updated. The closest was just inside the door and there was a divot in the floor near the bed. Heat and cooling was hard to regulate.

This was a nice facility, but a little time-worn. Comfortable bed, comfortable pillows. The staff I met were a little apathetic. Larger screen TV, TONS of channels.

This hotel is being remodeled, it has been in this condition for awhile. We were on the third floor and one half of the floor is torn apart and the other half has guests in it. It is time for the remodel which you can see in pealing paint and other slight problems. The room is comfortable so if you don't mind the condition the room is clean and comfortable and breakfast is decent.
