SSunsuntravelWe stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay.
Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease.
The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean.
One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations.
Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless.
The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination.
What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay.
In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. If you are traveling with family, visiting Jiuhua Mountain for the first time, or simply looking for a place where you can truly relax and feel supported, this is an excellent choice. I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands.
I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of.
During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service.
But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing.
This was not a tourist activity.
It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries.
My conclusion:
This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

ゲゲストGreat location, near the cable car station and easy access to the old street and other temples nearby. The owner family and staff were right on the spot to solve any queries you may have including our special request to book private transport direct to the Jiuhuashan town up in the mountain site. Breakfast was nice and we liked the special Zen design of the hotel and thoughtful cultural elements that were weaved in. There is a lovely tea and sutra writing room which became a restful spot of our stay there. My spouse and I look forward to staying there again when we plan our future trip to Jiuhuashan. We didn't encounter any cigarette smell as we requested a non-smoking room and the overall Zen environment enhanced our cherished Buddhist pilgrimage trip.

Ssugar…女将と彼の妻はとても熱心で、果物とお茶をくれました。河南省から来たとき、私たちは戦略を立てませんでした。女将が計画を立てるためにここに来ました。とてもスムーズに遊べました!重要なのは、衛生状態がとてもきれいで、部屋の寝具が比較的乾燥していて、独特の臭いがなく、とても快適に眠れることです!来年は家族を連れてきます!また、誰もが来ることをお勧めします。店は人気のアトラクションに非常に近いです。

入住尊享山上檢票口到民宿接或送:到了山上後，聯繫民宿小姐姐，都會熱情接送。
設施：整體設施很新，而且房間設計很温馨，待着很舒服。特別喜歡的就是洗手枱馬桶和淋浴間都是分開的，和朋友兩個人一起去的，完全不會相互影響。
環境：環境也挺好，待的很舒服。
服務：民宿小姐姐服務非常好，有應必答，有一天晚上雞湯喝的我腸胃不舒服，老闆也積極幫忙煮牛奶買東西。

ゲゲスト首先是看攜程上的視頻照片被景色環境吸引而選擇的這家，剛開始加了服務員微信讓她拍個實景視頻給我，可能九點特別忙，兩個人都沒有給我，後來又打電話加了一位叫小丁的前台微信（不得不説，我也是個很執着的人），這位小丁同志二話沒説就去了房間給我拍了視頻，而且還給我打來了視頻電話從二樓到一樓帶着我視頻看，看完之後隨即下了攜程訂單鎖定了這間房間，入住之後先去餐廳吃飯，李柏娟同志服務的我們，看到餐廳人不多自己也擔心不好吃，有想放棄這裏出去吃的打算，柏娟看到我們的想法沒有任何不悦，全程微笑服務講解餐廳的拿手菜，最後留下來吃確實是因為柏娟的服務，吃完之後發現實在人就是實在人不會撒謊誇大，餐廳的飯確實很好吃，同時餐廳的徐牡丹負責我們包間就怕我們吃不飽給了那麼多米飯，還給了水果拼盤，餐廳的早餐也非常好吃，其中吃到了這邊獨有的腐乳想買兩瓶帶回去，結果晚上去餐廳吃飯的時候，徐牡丹直接給我們拿了兩瓶説不要錢，不能不佩服她們之間的溝通工作做的非常到位，讓人很感動，還有客房部的孫大姐，孩子去爬九華山從天台寺下來孩子褲子全弄臟了，打電話問前台洗衣房可以洗就是會收費，孫大姐看了褲子之後直接説她們免費給洗洗就行了，而且怕耽誤我們行程，三個小時左右連洗帶烘乾弄好之後就送來了房間，真的是很感謝，還有再説一下這個酒店看是17年建成的，而且靠着這個湖，應該説這麼多年如果受潮的話房間肯定會有木材開裂或者牆紙脱落情況，但是實際上你看每一處實木的傢俱雖然有點過時但是客房包括餐廳的實木材料沒有一處開裂也沒有任何一處壁紙脱落，可以想象到老闆當初裝修的時候是絕對沒有偷工減料，且相當用心了，木材紮紮實實的用功也不得不讓人佩服，老闆應該是一位非常靠譜的人，所以才會從上到下都一起使勁，再次感謝各位的周到服務，下次有緣再來的話還會選擇此處。

Room is clean and functional .
Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage.
He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 .
So many restaurants too!!!!!!!!
He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u
He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop .

DDaniella Ma帶着孩子們去九華山禮佛，酒店給予很多幫助，會去山上大巴站來接我們。住的附近很多吃的，也有當地人小超市，水果店。走去每個山上巴士站也是大概5-8走路。阿姨們熱情好客。
