ホテル ダル ハヤム(Dar Khayam)

The hotel is beautiful but the bedrooms are very dated. The staff made our holiday and the animation team were amazing. The hotel caters for Muslim there were lots of disappointed French and there were only two other British families there. The fresh food had flys on it, the hot food wasn’t edible. We lived off pizza bases and the inside of French stick rolls. There was no butter, breakfast had pancakes and choc sauce, croissant and choc au pain. I’m not sure what was in them but they were incredible. The restaurant had filthy tables, no bottled water, Fanta was undrinkable, coffee was revolting. I have traveled loads and never experienced such awful food we literally starved for 7 days. The hotel room bunks were held together with filler. The beds were so hard with threadbare patches on the sheets. Our room wasn’t swept we had sand everywhere even in our beds. The bath was stinking with black hair in the plug holes. The toilet had a dreadful sewerage smell in it. Our room was better than we saw from the other guests, some of their rooms smelt constantly of sewage. The beach was littered with broken beds, broken umbrellas and security guard. The hotel spa staff plagued us for trea**ents and they weren’t cheap £200 pp and was claustrophobic, dirty and rough not a nice experience at all. The camel riding took us up into the back end of beyond piles of rubbish, razor snd barbed wire everywhere. This country has armed officers everywhere. The people would cut your throat in seconds. It’s a filthy, stinking hell hole of a country which seriously needs to get its act together. The reason why this hotel has very little reviews is because Brits don’t go here. The worlds a big place and this is one place I can honestly say I will never ever venture back to! It really was the holiday from hell!

Had the misfortune of being forced to stay here because TUI cancelled our flight! Having worked in the hospitality industry for years, I know how flight delays work, find the cheapest accommodation with most available beds. What a place this is, on arrival the place looks decent, until you get the room key. Then it becomes apparent you stepped back 30 years, old tired dirty depressing room that are close to a hostel. My wife suffered a panic attack that last the whole 27 hours we stayed and hasn’t fully recovered. No doubt the comment from the hotel will deny all accountability, judging from previous bad comments. I blame TUI however for putting there in the first place.

Ended up in this hotel after a flight delay. All I can say is all the good memories of the hotel I stayed in for my stay that was absolutely amazing have now left a bitter taste. One night of hell I’ve never felt so bad don’t be deluded by the lobby because beyond it’s like prison camp. The rooms are dirty, uncomfortable and to put it in a nutshell shocking!!!!! Rude staff this was 27 hours of hell. So pleased I’m out and back at home.

This hotel is disgusting, we stayed here 1 night as flight was delayed and omg it was hotel from hell. We had mother when we arrived as they wouldn’t give us all inclusive like the rep had told us, the room was disgusting it smelt very strongly of smoke and air con didn’t work, we asked to change rooms but they said they were fully booked!! The room was pokey, old fashioned and mattress was extremely thin. We had a 7am pick up next day so went to get breakfast and found the bread had mould on it.. we told was of the staff who came to look went through all the bread with his hands and no gloves.. he didn’t look the cleanest of people. We all felt the same all 50 of us, so our advice is stay clear of this place, not a hotel more like a hostel!!!

Great animation for both children and adults all day long and friendly and polite staff! Everyday cleaning, wonderful SPA. Definitely Dar Khayam deserves more than 3 stars! We had great time and really good vacation!

The hotel and staff were both a 5 star experience. From the first to the last day my stay was great. The SPA of the hotel was also excellent, I did two days of trea**ents and both days I was taken care of and felt like a goddess. The staff is super friendly, always strives to make you feel like a valued guest, the rooms are clean and spacious. Overall, I would wholeheartedly reccomend this hotel, deserves more stars than it has!

LA PERSONNE C EST INTRODUITE DURANT NOTRE DERNIER APRÈS-MIDI PASSÉ À LA PISCINE ET MA PRIS TT MES BIJOUX RANGÉ SOIGNEUSEMENT DANS L ARMOIRE. DÉPART PREVU LE LENDEMAIN MATIN tôt et je suis reparti sans pouvoir rien faire !! Séjour en février 2023.

People are very friendly. Food is very good. Weather is fabulous. Very glad we came to stay at Dar Khayam, Hammamet. Ps, be sure you book your transfers in advance as pay on the day is crazy expensive!!

Our rooms were huge and very clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly and most spoke very good English. The animation team were fantastic, very talented and professional, different show every night. very helpful advice given by Anthony. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and we will be back next year. Huge thanks to all the staff from Chris, Debbie, Bethany and the children.
