So, there I was, thinking I had hit the jackpot with a hotel so close to the airport that I could almost check in for my flight from my room. Little did I know, I was about to check into the Comedy Central of hotel experiences. Walking into my room, I was greeted not by a mint on my pillow but by an army of dead mosquitoes decorating the bed. It seemed like they had a party, overindulged, and just couldn’t leave. The cleaning crew must have been on a permanent vacation because the only thing clean in that room was my conscience for not running away immediately. The bathroom was a horror story with a twist of comedy. Calling it “dirty” would be a compliment; it was as if the dirt had moved in, signed a lease, and wasn’t leaving anytime soon. The handwashing bottle wasn’t just dirty; it was auditioning for a role in a grime documentary. But the pièce de résistance was the bathroom glass, so transparent that I felt like I was starring in my own reality show every time I showered. Privacy? More like a public broadcast service! And oh, the staff. They were tip comedians, always with their hands outstretched, ready for a tip even if the only service provided was a lesson in how not to run a hotel. They had this magical ability to appear out of nowhere, especially when I looked remotely content, just to remind me that every interaction apparently had a price tag. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a stay that combines the thrill of a wildlife safari (thanks to the mosquitoes), the suspense of a reality TV show (courtesy of the transparent bathroom), and the humor of a stand-up comedy sketch (shoutout to the ever-optimistic staff), then this is the place for you. Just remember, the real tip is to enjoy the comedy of errors you’re about to experience. And maybe bring your own cleaning supplies.

one of the most deadly experiences I've ever had in a hotel , we had a flight to catch at night but we reached dadar railway station at morning when i reached station their agent driver whose vehicle no. MH 01 BT 0256 took us to that hotel saying they will take 4000 rupees for 2 rooms for 3 hours including drop to Airport , when we reached Hotel sunshine they increased their prices saying they will take 7000 for this . also this hotel was located in a shady location. when we agreed with this price point ,they asked us for our adhaar card copy and original passports ,we gave our adhaar but we had a doubt that why is passport required ,we asked them about passports they started giving illogical reasons , but they started talking to us rudely and said that you will get only 1 room now and another one after 1 and half hours then we refused to take their rooms because we only need them for 2-3 hours and what's the point if we're getting second room after 1 and half hours , then we somehow got back to our vehicles , and aunty who was with us had gone to bathroom which was in their parking which was in front of their reception , they started kicking the doors of that bathroom saying that if we don't buy their rooms they won't allow us to use their bathroom we said that we will complaint against them they said do it now giving their mobile phones, when we asked them to give our passports back they asked 10,000 rupees for giving our passports back ,when we again said that give our passports back ,then 2 of the receptionist or (owners maybe) with a Sardaar guy came to us with rods and that sardar guy tried to give me a slap but somehow i stopped him, but till then around 15-20 people gathered around us trying to beat us but somehow we managed to get out of that hotel , I URGE EVERYONE NOT TO GO TO THIS HOTEL THEY ARE GANGSTERS ,***** AND GOONS , THEY HAVE EVERYTHING SET BE IT A DRIVER IN THE STATION WHO WILL CONVINCE YOU TO GO TO THIS HOTEL IN A LOWER PRICE AND IN HOTEL THEY WILL INCREASE THE PRICE 3000-4000 ,AND WILL START DOMINATING AND BEATING YOU ,THANK GOD WE SURVIVED BUT THIS WAS A LIFE THREATENING EXPERIENCE FOR ME

Had a wonderful stay at this amazing hotel .., staff were amazing and helpfull and rooms were clean and they also provide pick and drop facility which was really good i would surely stay here again..

I only booked this place for an overnight layover due to the proximity of the airport and the free airport pickup offered, I received a message the day before advising me to call the hotel on arrival to arrange pickup, not ideal being a foreign visitor as I then had to call with the roaming charges on my mobile, not a great start!! On arrival at the hotel we were shown to room 122 where I was overcome by the pungent damp must smell and a infestation of mosquitoes. On further inspection of the room I found it to be in a filthy condition, the bathroom especially looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. As it was only for a few hours we just accepted it but hardly slept a wink what with mosquitoes buzzing around and the light from the aircon lighting the room. An altogether terrible experience that I’d honestly not wish on anyone

Excellent service from the Hotel sunshine staff. From the moment we were at Mumbai airport to our departure the staff provided a brilliant service. We were only there half a day as a stopover for an early morning flight. The service desk provided good advice on how we can best explore Mumbai for the few hours we had. They managed a change in booking we made without any issue (a change that we had wanted to make). The hotel is in a good location to the airport only 10mins (with no traffic). Would certainly stay again if in Mumbai.

Travelling on my own and wanted a cheap hotel near the airport which also offered a transfer. Booked Hotel Sunshine as reviews were sufficient based on the price I was paying. The room was largely clean, no window with an outside view (it was frosted glass which possibly linked to another room) Bathroom was grim. Everything was rusty and what I believe is the hot water tank was leaking onto the floor. The room was on ground floor and it was very noisy. Not sure if it was beside the kitchen but the noise went on late and started early. There was also a lot of men who I think worked there hanging around the reception which to some people could feel intimidating. I have stayed in far worse but I would suggest paying a little more to find something better.
