First of all, there's nothing really wrong with the place. The kitchen is good, serving seasonal Swedish dishes at good quality, reasonably priced. Staff is nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are small and simple, but clean and with a nice place to sit outside. However, given the stunning beauty of the property, this place could be so much more. Besides the main building (which is beautiful, but not accessible for guests), the hotel and restaurant, there are some random buildings, with lots of clutter lying around. Cars and RVs are being parked randomly, tools and toys are sort of spread around, like no-one really cared. If the proprietors invested a bit more in the place, maybe provided for some activities beyond garden chess (how about table tennis, a badminton net or a tennis/padel/volleyball court?), in addition to extending the restaurant and bar menues, this could be such an awesome place. As it is now, it all looks a bit half-baked, unfortunately.
