Best sopa lodge in Kenya!

The setting to this place is truly beautiful; an amazing view over the lake and the reserve with really lovely grounds I was blown away when I first saw the pool area with the infinity view and the rooms are spacious with a glorious vista over the lake Although on a reserve we had a limited interaction with the animals being so high up but this wasn’t particularly a problem and the sunrise view was tremendous The service was ok, nothing stand out but adequate but the food was really good for buffet style, the best breakfast we had in Kenya Entrance to the reserve was a little painful but remember to add time for being in Kenya-they don’t work to the same frantic timeline as us! Overall, stunning views, rooms and food and the only sighting of a leopard we had in Africa Absolutely awesome!!

Our stay at the hotel was overall good. The hotel is beautiful with breathtaking views, and the food served was delicious. However, there were a few areas for improvement. While the room was comfortable, we did saw a spider in the bathroom with a very thick web that seemed to have been there for a while without being taken care of. Additionally, I felt that the service could be improved. There was an incident where our waiter seems unhappy after we declined alcohol and drinks, and when he was next to our table, I had an eye contact with him when looking around, so I smiled at him, but he maintained a poker face (which was surprising). Later, however, he showed a big smile towards another table. This made me feel very uncomfortable.

This elegant and tastefully designed safari lodge has some of the most majestic views you will experience. One of the few lodges located inside the Lake Nakuru national park, Sopa Lodge has the most stunning views from both its luxury cottages, as well as its dining room, bar and pool areas. Sitting on top of the parks primary ridge, you can look across at Lake Nakuru and its surrounding landscape. I'd highly recommend this beautiful lodge for anyone travelling to Masai Mara from Nairobi and wanting a restful pit-stop along the way,

The Panoramic view of the Lake below and the Park is by all standards amazing! The food served and the buffet presentation was just what we needed to have during our short stint! Manicured gardens...very spacious rooms... And electric vehicles to take us to the rooms...

Loved this place. Great staff and the environment is really amazingNice clean facility. Excellent helpful staff. Good meals - buffet style. Large firm beds. A bit of a walk from common areas to rooms but not bad. Nice views of lake and distant city lights from most rooms. Definitely recommend this lodge when visiting Lake Nakuru.

The lodge itself boasts stunning views and comfortable accommodations, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers and relaxation seekers alike. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway.

The reception was beautiful, people were nice I loved the pool and the food the chef made sure my team and I were fully satisfied and I had so much fun spending the night there. There was peace and quiet in the whole premises and I loved that there was less walking.
