The hotel is in a beautiful location, within walking distance of the stunning Art Deco centre of Napier.
The room itself was smaller than anticipated, but it did have a balcony with beautiful views across the Bay which unfortunately had direct access to the adjoining room with no fence or barrier between. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The room was promoted as having a kitchenette, but that really only meant a microwave in addition to the usual toaster & kettle, and nothing to “cook” with.
Although it overlooked a reasonably busy road, the room was quiet and the curtains did quite a good job of blocking the light.
