プグドゥンディーサファリ - カナ・アース・ロッジ(Pugdundee Safaris - Kanha Earth Lodge)

Kanha Earth Lodge is our 2nd experience with Pugdundee Safaris. The first one being Treehouse Hideaway-Bandhavgarh undoubtedly set the expectations bar quite high. But to our delight, Kanha Earth Lodge impressed us. When we arrived, we were greeted by warm smiles, incredible service, and the melodious voice of the lovely Indian Cuckoo! The bungalow/cottage was quite impressive with all the comfort and luxury. And then came the highlight of our stay, the Tiger Safari!! We had already booked the safaris with the lodge, saving us all the hassle. Led by the knowledgeable guide & our driver Mr. Sooraj, we went to the jungle and we were fortunate enough to witness the tigress and many other animals and birds. Back at the resort, Chef Ark Bagchi and his team made sure we relished the delicious meals. Rohit & Shashank were very attentive to our requirements. Above everyone, the loudest shoutout to the lodge manager Mr Harpreet Singh Dhillon and his whole team who ensured we did not even have the slightest inconvenience. Highly Recommended!! PS- We can't wait to visit and experience other Pugdundee Safari Lodges.

Kanha Earth Lodge is one of the best lodges that I’ve ever stayed at. The accommodations are lovely, with huge beds and an amazing deck view of the surrounding bamboo forest. The only drawback is having to wait 10-15 minutes for hot water, but that’s understandable given the eco nature of the lodge. Staff were incredibly attentive, and a huge shout out to the chef and dining staff that were very accommodating of some of my dietary preferences. The guides are absolutely world class, and with their years of experience we were able to find multiple tigers daily. Kanha Earth Lodge blew my expectations and I can’t wait to return in the future!

Friendly, smiling team of kanha earth lodge gave us a warm welcome. The property is picturesque!!! The chef and the kitchen staff pampered us with sumptuous meals… the tribal dinner was memorable! Kids enjoyed the jungle pool, nature trails and the butterfly garden. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

Excellent stay at Kanha Earth Lodge,staff was very good, excellent hospitality,nice food,ambience ,rooms/cottages,overall great stay.Location is very peaceful amidst of forest and greenery,good place to relax and enjoy....highly recommended

The lodge was beautiful and the food was incredible The staff went out of their way to please us.The guide we had from the lodge was very knowledgeable and very good of finding good sightings for the animals.I am an amateur photographer he made sure that I had the best view of the wildlife.I will definitely go back.

A beautiful place to stay! The accommodations are wonderful and the staff was incredible in meeting your needs for food, service, and trips into Kanha Tiger Preserve. The food and service were excellent! The guides were great on finding the tigers and on the rest of the wildlife and birds!

This is only the second review I have written online. The first one was for another Pugdundee property, King's Lodge in Bandhavgarh. I went to India with a friend for three weeks and our original goal was to see tigers. Tigers were a fun aspect of our trip, but the experience was so much more than that. When we talk about our trip, tigers aren't the first thing we talk about. We really enjoyed all the people we met and interacted with the most. The Earth Lodge is an amazing place. The facility is eco-luxury, comfortable, good beds, good pillows (one of the most important factors because bad sleep ruins a vacation), excellent food and overall great service. They also work with local communities to get them involved in the lodges and tourism around the parks. It's a really nice touch. Laundry comes back in a bag that looks more like a large envelope made from recycled newspapers. The lodge manager, Happy, is engaging and clearly loves his job and is committed to their eco-mission but also to their guests. He enthusiastically showed us a small snake that had found its way into a room in the main lodge. I am not a fan of snakes, but this was another fun experience. Ashu, our naturalist, led us on a fun search for tigers and other animals in the park. It was harder to spot tigers than I thought, but it turned out to be part of the experience. We were fully engaged with the naturalist, guide and others in the jeep, listening for warning calls from the other animals and looking for clues. On our last day, Ashu thought we might see a tiger in a particular spot and he was right. We finally got to see one for just over an hour. We will be going back and staying at the Pugdundee Lodges. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Probably the best of four lodges we visited on our recent trip to central India. The chef was so attentive, and conjured up some amazing meals. Everything was a good as possible, and the tiger game drives were exceptional. Our primary aim was birding, and we were not disappointed. We were fortunate to have Ashu Khan as our guide on game drives, and we saw tigers and many bird species really well.

If there is a better way to prepare for, experience and enjoy Kanha tiger reserve, then good luck searching. Otherwise, Pugdundee's Safaris and Kanha Earth Lodge - a committed eco-focused venue - could not be bettered. From a genuine welcome on arrival - attentive staff, cool drinks and towels and a thorough briefing - to meeting "our" passionate naturalist, Yashojeet (who drove and accompanied us every morning and afternoon on six safaris), the patient and attentive staff, incredible dining and wonderful accommodation, our stay was superb. We cannot recommend KEL highly enough. Thank you all for our lifelong, incredible experiences and memories ... and, of course, for the wild creatures, from tigers to golden jackals, wild dogs and deer, to the incredible birds - rollers and kingfishers, serpent eagles and hornbills - and the cool, delightful sal trees.
