Warning we got SCAMMED: the contact person approved shortened stay even written, but never entered it into the platform - we were told over 2 month: office will do it and all is confirmed but nothing is happening. Communication not really possible even important questions not answered and on phone just told we will get info / refund etc…in the end even hung up once we called And Pool was not cleaned

We stayed here just for the weekend and we really enjoyed that. The season was off but we enjoyed ourselves the most. Nice decorated room and some good facilities included. well done, we will be back.

The images online make the property look more updated and fresh and modern than in reality. The property has great potential but is 2 star more than 4 star quality accommodation. We had several issues with the room- the shower head doesn’t fit on the wall, you soak the bathroom each time you take a shower, the shelf in the kitchen fell and smashed glass everywhere, after cleaning, they leave dirty wet towels in the bathroom on the floor. On a positive , the location close to the beach is beautiful once you get past the big electric pylon staring at you. Sofia is an excellent and helpful host. The place needs updating. I would rather have stayed higher up Plaka beach so we could walk to a restaurant easily. It’s 25 mins walk up the beach for dinner if you don’t want to take a car. You absolutely need a car if you stay here so you can get around and the beaches are gorgeous.

We are travellers that book the last minute, as we want to explore as many places as we can. After a few days in Santorini, we chose Naxos and searched for a place not so visible from tourists. I think we made the best choice. You will definitely need a car if you decide to stay longer than 3 days in the area, but for us walking by the beach and staying away from the crowd was a new adventure. The owner helped us with the pick up & delivery back, as we didn't rent a vehicle. Property well cared with a nice familiar taste.

We visit Naxos the last 12 years and we see how the island has changed.. at this part of Plaka beach everything is kept quiet and peaceful. It is a plus the breakfast delivery at the room and the freedom to take it whenever we wish. They took care of us in the best way and we think that we will return again and again.

Unique location, peaceful place, great service - from the pick up till the daily care. We were a bit afraid of the bad comments for the area, but is was what we were looking for, to be away from the crowd and too close to the beach of Plaka.

The resort is really not one: It's "rooms to let" plus a very small pool and outdoor "lounge", plus breakfast. The rooms are very well appointed in an excellent location, with sea views and sizeable balconies very clean and very well kept up (but small). Service for ~10 rooms is provided by 2 amazing ladies (one cleaning, one doing everything else, including breakfast, and reception until 2:30). The rooms are right next (ie 10m from the edge of the property) to a great sandy beach. So, what is the problem or the missed opportunity? The rooms are overpriced for high season (200E plus for a small-sized double or triple room), and the property is undeveloped except for the immediate room area (it's basically cleared brush). Also, at this price, I'd expect at least fresh juice and cake that don't come from supermarket cartons (there is a great bakery just minutes from the property, and oranges are dirt cheap in Greece). We liked the place, we'd even stay there again probably, but it's annoying how limited the offering is for the price. The other Ampelos places on Naxos are of the same ownership. They appear to offer fuller service - but the location of this one is much better if you're into the beach life.

Attenzione le foto delle camere non corrispondono a quelle reali, sia noi che altri clienti si lamentavano perché alcuni hanno ricevuto camere più piccole di quelle prenotate o addirittura al seminterrato. La proprietaria è furbetta non risponde mai al telefono quando sorgono problematiche. Evitate questa struttura se non volete avere brutte sorprese

Le camere non sono male e anche la pulizia è buona. La struttura si trova a 5 minuti a piedi da una della più belle spiagge di Plaka. Gli aspetti positivi sono finiti. Nessuno ci accolto al check in Nessuno presente al check out. Ci hanno dato una stanza diversa da quella prenotata e non hanno fatto niente per cambiarla in sei giorni. Non rispondono al telefono. Solo un messaggio whatsapp dopo che ci siamo lamentati con ***********. Consiglio a tutti di cercare altro se potete.
